We pulled up to the property and immediately did not feel safe staying there. The pool looked absolutely nothing like the pictures, the parking lot was close to impossible to maneuver with my compact SUV, and there were several people staring uncomfortably; my wife wouldn’t even get out of the car. We immediately booked at the Holiday Inn instead.

The management is clearly spending money to try and update this facility. The location is great for historical sites and the parks. I look forward to coming back in the future to see the improvements, but for this summer, you have to tamper your expectations.

Started with very polite service, and room was ready and clean for use. They made sure we had fresh towels evey day.

There was no way to call the front desk at 11 PM when we went to go to bed and found out that the hide a bed wasn't made and there were no linens in the room. Was told we would have to go to the office in the middle of the night to get them. Unacceptable.

They charged an additional fee when i arrived and the room was prepaid. The room smelled like mildew and the bed was full of mouse droppings.

Friendly staff, reasonable cost, close to everything, older property but well kept, clean, comfortable and spacious, definitely would stay here again.

I always stay here when in Williamsburg because it's really affordable, clean and the owners are so nice and helpful. Our TV remote didn't work and the owner was there to fix it within minutes. If you are on a budget and want nice friendly service this may be worth checking out for you. I have stayed here three times now and each time it was well worth the money.

Great staff, convenient, clean, affordable!
The family that owns/manages this hotel are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! The suite we rented was super clean. Conveniently located, simple, and affordable! Had a nice outdoor pool, but my daughter was too tired to swim after a day at Busch Gardens.
