Quality Inn Roanoke Near Lake Gaston

Upon going into the room it had the most foul odors!! It was dusty and the mirrors had not been washed, there was blood on the mirror closet¡ I checked the beds for bugs, we were afraid to take our shoes off the carpets hadn't been vacuumed! I told the front desk woman in the morning and she made notes that was it!! Breakfast wasn't much which Ok fine some is limited in certain places! The bathroom had a smell to! The room was not clean there were cob webs jn the corners of the walls!! It is near places which is great but they really should attempt better cleaning!!!! I would not recommend it just based off my own experience!

This is the most run-down motel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in room 214. There were too good things about the room- the AC worked great and the freezer kept my ice packs frozen. But there was so much wrong with the room. The popcorn ceiling was cracked, peeling, and missing in several places. The weather striping on the door was missing in sections so I could literally see sunlight through my door. The "security bar" on the door had obviously been ripped out at one point and was not secured firmly back in place (it "wobbled"). There was mold in the bathroom. The king-size bed was lopsided/ saggy on one side. My husband had to sleep on the edge of the mattress or he would have rolled on top of me. Then, there were minor things. Someone repaired a section of the wall in the bathroom and didn't take the time to sand/smooth out the spackle. The bathroom door wouldn't shut completely. We were planning on eating breakfast before leaving but after seeing the condition of the room we didn't trust the the kitchen in which the food is prepared. I will not stay here again!

This hotel is a dump. Worst I ever experienced. Smoke smell in the room. Cigarettes buts and trash on bathroom floor. Hair and dirt all over the shower. This place should be visited by the health board and shut down.. Loud bangs and noises all throughout the night. Will never stay again!

I generally give good reviews, but this was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. I was exhausted from driving or I would have asked for a refund and gone to another hotel in the area unfortunately it will not let me post pictures. Broken door latch, moldy shower, holes in the rug, and entire drawer missing from the dresser and a refrigerator that really beat. was in room 119 I have contacted Choice hotels about this.

I've stayed in many many hotels and motels in my many years of travel. This hotel was the worst! The room carpet was ripped, the room smelled very musty as if the air conditioning unit filter needed to be replaced. The bed was not very comfortable. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

This room had filthy dirty and torn carpets, rusty lamps, and dirt and peeling paint all over walls. The interior and exterior doors needed to be painted. Since this was a pet friendly room, I can only imagine what was in those carpets that looked like they were 25 years old. Disgusting!
