My family was without lights due to a severe thunderstorm. When we arrived, management allowed us to check in early. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Best Western Corporation should be ashamed to have this hotel bearing their name. After driving for 10 hours all I wanted was a clean, decent place to lay my head. This hotel is awful. For reference I stayed in room 131. The moment I walked in I regretted my choice to stay. The bathrooms paint is chipped, the caulk around the tub looks like a 5 year old did the work. Dirt stains behind the toilet floor. The lamps in the room are old and stained- one was even rusty. The TV remote looks like it came from the 1980’s- with no instructions on how to use it. The door didn’t fit in the doorframe properly frame properly- you could clearly see the hallway lights around all sides of the door. The exit closet to my room was broken- wouldn’t lock and had broken chairs stacked next to it. Also there was a cigarette receptical filled, uncovered and laced outside the door. My suggestion is- just pass this place by- save your money.

Right now you’re reading reviews and trying to decide if this SureStay is worth it. It is not. Don’t try to convince yourself that the bad reviews are simply a one-off bad experience. This hotel needs to be torn down. The two positives this hotel has is that the front desk clerk Shakira is very nice and the check in was smooth. We arrived to a parking lot with three cars in it during the busy tourist season. After check in, we took the luggage elevator to the second floor. Every single room that was not rented had its door open to air it out. Our room personally had the shower curtain tied to the door to keep it open, with the curtain dipped into the toilet bowl’s water. Disgusting. The door was open because they did not have the AC on and it was sweltering hot. The thick, mildew smell was the first thing we noticed. The next was that the room was incredibly moldy. We found mold openly growing on the bed frame, on the walls, on the bedside table handles, and in the bathroom. We immediately went downstairs and requested a new room. The second room had mold spots as big as dinner plates growing on the walls. I went back downstairs and requested a refund and was told that I would have to wait to speak to a manager, who would not be in until the next day, which would be long after I fled from this dump. Do not rent a room here.

When we arrived, the person on staff was more than accommodating. We had decided to stay at best Western because I have a best Western reward program, but haven’t used it in a while. When we got to our room, it smelled moldy and we saw a mold on the refrigerator door, The filter filters for the air conditioner were filthy, the cover on one of the beds was stained, the in the bathroom was dirty, the water never got hot. In addition, although we had not planned on using the pool, the pool was filled with mold and algae. This property has not been maintained.

We got in friday night about 10:40 and the gentleman who checked us in was really nice. Room was clean and bed was soft. Breakfast could have been better though. But when you havr limited space its tough. Would definitely stay here again!
