There are cleaner hotels to go to in Riyadh. They likely offer much better value for your money. Management needs a lot of training.

After settling in, my friend came over to check on me and bring me some food (I was travelling a lot before arriving and was very tired) The reception agent who completed my check-in called and knocked at my door, asking the visitor to leave in a very unwelcoming manner, which is totally the opposite of my experience of warmth and generosity in this beautiful city of Riyadh (and elsewhere in the Kingdom) and its people. It was aggressive and intruisive - a serious lack of privacy and politeness. Of course, I understand the rules to register the visitors. However, this does not justify the tone nor the manner of the communication between the front desk and the in-house guest (me). This is not my first time in Riyadh and I have never had any issue in terms of interaction before. I have booked with Ascott out of curiosity as it claims to be exceptional in terms of hospitality, but the staff do not seem to be very helpful nor welcoming. Regrettably As a result, I am obliged to look for alternatives and check out. I do not recommend this property at all.
