Great host and unit. The property is beautiful and the proximity to Abel Tasman is extremely convenient. We would not hesitate recommending this property to anyone. There are a number of very good restaurants and pubs relatively close as well.

Such wonderful hosts in a wonderful region! Views of the surrounding mountains and nearby coastline. I was here to visit Abel Tasman NP, and Jane and John gave me very helpful recommendations for where to go. The chalet was clean and tidy, with a fully-stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Many surrounding birds, so sitting out on the terrace in the morning to watch the sunrise or evening to watch the sunset was always accompanied by lovely songs! I would very much recommend a stay here in this relaxing escape in nature.

Restful Riwaka hills
Very well maintained in a quiet, rural setting. John & Jane are very friendly and informative and work very hard on the grounds and unit.Highly recommended!
Go to the Riwaka Hotel for a good meal and visit the Riwaka Resurgence!

Beautiful chalet set in idyllic surroundings with the Abel Tasman National Park and other places of interest on your doorstep. Wonderful welcome from John (Jane away at the time). Can also pay a small amount to catch up on laundry if needed. Highly recommend and just wish our stay could have been longer.

We hebben 2 nachten mogen verblijven bij Terraced chalets, en dat is ons heel goed bevallen. Het is een mooie schone accomodatie en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Rustige omgeving , en Jane en John zijn gastvrije mensen. Wij vinden het een aanrader.

Wow! Was für eine schöne Unterkunft. Es gibt 3 Chalets, die alle einzeln stehen, daher ist es angenehm ruhig. Parkplatz ist direkt am Chalet. Es ist ein großer Raum mit Küchenzeile, die super ausgestattet ist. Ein etwas breiteres Queenbett aber auch ein Schlafsofa, das sehr bequem ist. Es ist alles geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer ist ausreichend groß. Es gibt eine Veranda auf der man nett sitzt mit Blick aufs Meer und die Berge. Jane und John sind sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Man kann eine Waschmaschine inkl. Waschpulver für 2$ benutzen und Wäscheleinen/Ständer sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Internet ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist einfach toll. Total idyllisch. Man ist schnell im Abel Tasman NP und in Motueka. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

The chalet is so cozy and welcoming with a great view of the mountain and beautiful landscape. We showed up late as we were coming from Picton but Jane was looking out for us to give us a warm welcome to her property. Highly recommended to stay here.
