Great hotel, staff were friendly and loved the ale house bar. One thing that could be improved is the Lift speed, it is painfully slow! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

Early evening meal for 5 whilst visiting the area. Tables dirty and sticky, extremely slow service and each meal was poor.

Lovely hotel. Room was perfect. Bed very comfortable. Staff excellent. Grounds well kept. Plenty of seating in bar. Only thing that let it down was the breakfast. Mass produce & self service. Eggs were always hard. And the lift which was incredibly slow.

Great hotel Room lovely clean, good size and organised . Bed was so cosy ..bathroom a great size , would preferred walking shower as struggle to get in bath with overhead shower which was good once managed to step into bath. Bars were good and staff very welcoming , drinks and food reasonable prices. Lovely out door sitting area .. parking free on site which is a bonus and checking out in line saves time. We will certainly be returning and recommend . One niggle we was on 1st floor facing car park/road and found the traffic to be noises around 6 am so I would request a room at back looking over the gardens when we return which we definitely will be doing . We have seen things going downhill since the Ripon Inn opened a few years ago. The last couple of times we’ve been, the bar staff have appeared surly, lackadaisical and uninterested. To top it off, one of the bar staff today had questionable personal hygiene, with very strong body odour. It doesn’t look like the staff are properly trained in customer service, and there doesn’t seem to be strong leadership present. Please improve, sooner rather than later. We went in for something to eat and left after 1 drink.

The rooms could have a chest of draws . There was not much room between the toilet and the shower . There could be some shelving in the shower . Our evening meal was cold . The hotel staff are very helpful and the grounds are lovely

A superb hotel. We stayed in a standard twin room which was perfect. The bathroom was huge with a lovely walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. No road noise could be heard. The bar was great for a few drinks and a meal at the end of the evening. Breakfast was self serve and very nice. No vegetarian alternatives for bacon/sausage but this didn’t bother me. Lovely to sit outside in the hotel grounds. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for walking into Ripon town, only 5 min walk away. I would arrive at check-in so as to get a parking space. Would definitely stay again.

Just had a lovely 3 night bed and breakfast stay at Ripon inn, place and surroundings beautiful. Hotel staff were all excellent. We have used Inn collection hotels in the past and will do again.

As a regular visitor to the Ripon Inn I feel that since it’s opening the standard of customer care has deteriorated. The bar staff the general staff and hotel staff seemed to have adopted a strange attitude to customers. They are in general very surly and dismissive particularly at the bar. A smile would not go amiss. The surroundings are stunning the location could not be better, however the staff let the experience down considerably.
