I had a wonderful experience here! It is a paradise on earth. The staff is really helpful, especially Augusto is amazing! They offer a free shuttle by boat to rio dulce and back, and they have a great restaurant with fair prices. The rooms are also really good.

We had o lovely stay at boatique hotel! This unique hotel was the perfect way for us to finish our trip in a beautiful and lush environment. Enjoying their pool, many hammocks and beds to chill on and lovely staff that provides good food. Small but social hotel to relaxed and enjoy nature for an affordable price! We stayed in a cabana but the dorms looked also lovely for solo travelers.

I had three nights at Boatique but wish it could have been longer. It’s a gorgeous cabana style hotel built down a small tributary on the banks of the Rio Dulce. Awakened each day by the sounds of the howler monkeys, which you can also see if you take a kayak out, it’s an incredibly tranquil place and ideal to relax. All of the staff are amazing but for me, Jenny, Augusto and Freddy really stood out. Every day you are greeted with a smile, nothing is too much trouble, and the place is kept immaculately clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Boatique and hope to come back again one day.

Boatique is een heel fijn en rustig verblijf. Lekker eten, goede sfeer en midden in de natuur. We hebben wat uurtjes bij het zwembad doorbracht wat heel chill was. Ook hebben we de kookworkshop gedaan en die was heel leuk met als resultaat heerlijke empanadas voor de lunch! Heerlijke vibe voor het eind van onze reis. :-)

Had the most amazing stay, everything was wonderful, from the hotel itself to the people there. The food, staff, tranquility and wildlife were all incredible. Couldn’t recommend this place enough with great and easy access via shuttles to and from other places.

If you’re on the fence about this trip, don’t hesitate…go!! Of all the places I’ve traveled, this has been a favorite. It’s a unique, beautiful getaway. It’s accessible only by a 5 minute boat ride. Realize that if it’s raining (as it was when we arrived), your luggage may get wet. Be prepared to bag up your luggage if it needs protected. The owners are personable and make you feel right at home. They showed us the howler monkeys way up on the trees and gave us a bit of history of the place. They have created a wonderful, sustainable, eco-friendly vacation spot. The food is made to order and so fresh and yummy, all locally sourced. The amenities are charming and all about relaxation. Some people in our group took a sunset catamaran tour. Others had an hour long massage. We opted to just lie around in the hammocks and at the pool and relax. In a world where it’s hard to forget the worries of the world, this is the perfect place to just let it go. Also, we were shocked (in a good way!) at how affordable our stay was. You can’t stay in a cheap, roach infested hotel for that price! Again, Boatique gets all the stars because they’re all that and so much more. I hope to someday go back for an even longer getaway.

Supere mooie omgeving en het verblijf grotendeels gebouwd met hout en bamboe + het eten ziet er ook echt top uit! Qua activiteiten is er ook voldoende te doen van kajakken, boottripjes tot massages. Beesten spotten kan hier ook goed zoals mooie vlinders en leguanen.

Un oasis sur le Rio Dulce. Un logement confortable, bien équipé, un personnel disponible et très sympathique. Le café est offert au petit-déjeuner et une « lancha » gratuite permet de se rendre au village de Rio Dulce en quelques minutes ! 3 belles journées !
