The room I was taken to had more modern furniture. I've been referred to older rooms, so I don't know if all rooms have a standard design. I usually stay at this hotel when the price is affordable, as it tends to vary. It is opposite the subway and close to restaurants and pharmacies. It is also close to the beach.

The hotel was wonderful, the employee treated us badly at first because there were problems with the reservation, I rented for just one person instead of two, then everything went well, the smell of the hotel was wonderful, the pool, the view, the room, everything was very good, the cleanliness included excellent we left and when we came back our room was extremely clean and tidy

Between Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach, it is convenient to go to 2 beaches. There is a subway nearby. Bus is also convenient. But don't set a special room.

靠海有點潮濕，設施都有保障，空調熱水。
服務一般 相對於其他各國的宜必思來説
跟服務員説了房間號和電吹風短路了他哦了一下就沒再來。早上吃早飯忘了倒熱水再折返就不讓進，問前台要10元人民幣，且現燒等了很久，感覺不太人性化。
電梯只有一部可以運行，高峯期要等。
早餐挺豐盛的，水果都很好吃，很值得。
地理位置不錯，可以步行到海灘和去基督山的巴士站，離地鐵也很近，有名的烤肉店也是走走就到。
總體這個價錢還是很划算了。。。

GGuest UserIf it weren't for the general manager Temborarli and Julia, I would have given it all 1's, but in the last 3 hours of my birthday, they managed to save the situation. I flew to Brazil alone to celebrate my 40th birthday and chose one of the most expensive hotels - JW Marriot, thinking that it was a cool hotel. But no. I didn't get any service or amenities, having paid a lot of money. I arrived at 10 pm (that is, the whole day was already lost, I did not live in the room) I had to live the night and 1 next day. My birthday! I go to the reception, tell them that I came to you to celebrate my birthday, I am a member of the Marriott program and have already spent more than $5,000 on your hotels in the first month of the year (I show the receptionist and explain that my birthday is coming up in 2 hours, my birthday is coming up), but (!) they put me in a room on the third floor, where you can’t open the curtains (!), because people are constantly walking past to use the elevator!! Even in the middle of the night! They are rumbling and making noise. Upset, I return to the reception and ask them to help me somehow with this situation. At the same time, I see that the room is dirty! Even the sheets are dirty!! An unpleasant man says, ”You have this room category, King room. I can't do anything. Well, I can find a higher floor.” (Was it too much to give it to him right away? A higher floor and a room not on the passage, where you can't even open the curtains, why should I run and ask!!!??? I already asked once: pay attention, it's my birthday. A birthday on which they give gifts and make surprises, congratulate!!!
But apparently he is a completely incomprehensible person. (To whom I wish that no one congratulates him on his birthday this year). Then he offers me ”if you want, you can PAY EXTRA and move to another room with a different view” !!!!! I say: I DON'T WANT TO and leave. (I also wish this man a trip to another continent, the earth's hemisphere, alone, where he pays for everything, for everything himself!)
My birthday is in the morning, I sleep terribly, there is no soundproofing, noises begin from 6 am ... and until the evening, until 7 pm I don't get a piece of cake, a card, nothing. (Although then I moved to the Fairmont hotel, where the waiters sang a Happy Birthday song to the birthday boy so heartily at breakfast!!! So never choose Marriott for your birthday!!! They will treat you very badly!!)
I always travel for my birthday, I have already celebrated it more than 20 times in different parts of the world and in different hotels, and for the first time I encountered that I need to beg for something and remind you that it is your birthday!!!
At the very end of the birthday, at 7 pm, I go to the reception and ask to call the general manager to say everything that I think about JW Marriott. Well, here Timberly moves me for 1 night to a room on a high floor with a sea view. For which I am very grateful to her. And for which I give high points in the review. And that guy who regretted upgrading so that the person would wake up happy on his birthday and continue spending money in the Marriot Bonvoy chain, and not wake up broken at 6 am because it sounded like someone was washing in his bathtub (because in that room on the 3rd floor there was unreal soundproofing, no soundproofing!!!!) I hope he will be fired!!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is about 40 minutes away from the airport by car. It is right between Ipanema and Copacabana Beach. Go downstairs and walk across the road to the beach. The sea is very soft, like the magic sand that children play with. Every employee of the hotel is very polite and will greet people warmly. The hotel's swimming pool is very beautiful. The view of the mountains and the sea outside the swimming pool is superb! ! ! We were in a daze for 2 days in the hotel and the beach at the door! Because we checked in early, we were given the last room with sea view, but my husband was more serious and changed it twice to a good sea view room. The only drawback is that the price is a bit expensive, nearly 4,000 per night. This is not the hotel's fault, but because I am poor!

YYundingdaojianghuChecking in in the evening, we had two reservations for 1 night + 3 nights. We asked the front desk to merge the orders to avoid the trouble of having to check out and apply again the next day. The front desk handled the merged orders, which is more rigid than some places in Chile. Much better.
However, the suite we were given was too old and empty with almost no furniture! It's still along the road, and the windows are old aluminum alloy single-layer glass, which is not soundproof at all. Moreover, the split air conditioner in our room is very old and noisy. We didn't sleep well all night!
The next day, we reported the noise situation to the front desk. The manager was on duty and moved us to a suite not along the road. It had a lot more furniture and furnishings and the air conditioner was relatively new. It felt much better than the rooms along the road. Some rooms in the hotel are being partially renovated~
Overall, the decoration of this hotel is too old, and the breakfast is average (for us Chinese), with not many varieties and no vegetables at all~
The staff's service is quite good. They took the initiative to help us pick up our suitcases and bring them to the room, and introduced the room facilities. When we left, the lobby attendant took the initiative to help us carry our suitcases and hail a taxi suitable for us at the door to take us to the airport.
It is relatively close to the beach, there are many restaurants nearby, and there are also large supermarkets nearby.

JJorgeExcellent service, highlighting Bruno's cordiality. Great breakfast, good service at the cafe too. Room strongly matches the photos. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning off. Apparently the room facing the pool is not soundproofed but the noise was not bothersome.
