Excellent service in a hotel excellent location, but I went to make a maid reservation one day and saw the wrong day attendant consultant value on the hotel's website and said mine was cheaper I did it like this, I didn't even notice the mistake and she didn't care there either the rest is history

Excellent hotel! Located in the center of the Copacabana beach, on the first line. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant on the 30th floor! - but only for super deluxe rooms. I recommend booking rooms of this level or higher. Amazing view from the room! My recommendations

The hotel is very well located, on Av. Princesa Isabel, right after the tunnel, right where Leme beach ends and Copacabana beach begins. The service at reception was exceptional, friendly and helpful. Mr. Carlos, who checked me in, was helpful, offering us the possibility to get into the room earlier (1:00 pm, when the time would be 3:00 pm), and stored our bags at reception while we walked around the city waiting for the room to be released. The room I stayed in (a standard twin) was good, not too big, but not too tight either, two wide single beds, with new and clean sheets, but a mattress too soft for my taste (for one night, it wasn't a problem , but spending more nights sleeping on it would be complicated). Smart TV, but it couldn't connect to the internet, so it was limited to cable channels (good selection of movie and series channels). The bathroom is spacious, but the shower stall is tight and the water is not at a constant temperature, you have to keep adjusting it to warmer or colder. The whole room looked as if it was already in need of renovation, and the bathroom even more so, but everything was in good working order. The room I stayed in was a connecting room (end 15) and the noise from the neighbor when using the bathroom was quite loud, nothing that constantly bothered me, but it is something to watch out for; in another room, maybe it was smaller. We didn't use the leisure area on the roof, we just visited it. It's small, and the pool is pretty cramped, but the view is beautiful. We didn't get breakfast either, so I can't comment on the food. Anyway, for the amount I paid and to spend just one night, it was a good option, without luxuries. For a longer stay, perhaps a better room would do, or another hotel.

We stopped here for a couple of nights at the beginning of a tour. We did not book the hotel, it came in the package. Generally speaking, the hotel is OK. Not luxurious and in need of a bit of TLC, but it did the job and has a great location in the middle of the beach, with a stunning view from the pool on the roof. Room was fairly large, decent bed, clean but not spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared, with decent coffee. Check in staff were a little grumpy but not unpleasant, bar staff were great. I will probably never go to Rio again, but if I did, I would consider the Windsor.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was already surprised by the additional charge of 69 reais, which was not included in the reservation, I felt cheated by the website that made the sale to me. According to the attendant, the reservation was transferred to take off, so there would be this fee (I had made the purchase through the trip). This additional fee made the final price much higher, researching I found that it would be possible to stay in a much better hotel for those prices. As for the hotel, the service was good, especially the guy at the pool bar. The view is very beautiful (the best thing about the hotel). The pool is a bathtub, even at the end of the day and the next morning it was very dirty, with a crust of oil and sunscreen on the water, which made it impossible to enter. The breakfast was very simple, in a very small space, in fact everything in the hotel is very small. Narrow hallways, small elevator, small bedroom and micro bathroom. We could hear the shower and flushing from upstairs. In general, the experience with the hotel was not as expected, especially for the price and what it offers.

I was hosted in this hotel last weekend - 02 to 03/07/2022. I have contacted me, and Mrs Vanessa has answered me, she kept the forgotten pieces, and the next day she sent me for Sedex with great delight and sympathy, and I would like to congratulate her on the sensitivity and empathy shown by that person. All the staff very careful and efficient.

We booked a standard room and got a standard room--despite ******* leading us to believe that we'd get an upgrade. And that's OK, but we were very disappointed that one of the rooms allotted to us (we had booked 2 rooms) had water seepage. Plus, despite our request--made one day earlier--that we get two rooms next to each other, we were given rooms on different floors. This is inexcusable because the hotel had ample time to give us two rooms next to each other: we didn't check in until 8 am the NEXT morning (our flight landed at 6 am and I didn't want to not be able to nap--in case we felt like it--after a long flight and jet lag), and I emailed them the previous morning. Then, after promising to have a new room ready for us in 30 minutes, it took them an hour to do so, while my wife and daughter were made to wait in the lobby. More than the delay, it was the lack of courtesy--for example, my wife had to proactively go to the desk and ask for updates about when the room would be ready, rather than the front-desk person providing it to her--that was more bothersome. In addition to these problems, one of the rooms (605) we have has a bathroom door that's stuck--it doesn't open or close easily. I haven't bothered to complain about this because I am sharing the room with a family member (so it's OK if the door isn't fully shut) and we are only now here for one more night anyway. Last year, we stayed Windsor Copacabana, which is definitely less plush, but it is also much (more than 2 times) less expensive, and I feel that you at least get your money's worth there. This is not to say that everything is bad. The staff are friendly and (although we aren't staying in one), the ocean facing rooms (I got a glimpse into one of them) look great. The location is amazing as well, and the view at the top (swimming pool, restaurant, gym) level is very nice.

I'm staying at this hotel now, and I have stayed here previously as well. It is an efficient and well-run place. But I have felt little respect for even repeat clients. I arrived from São Paulo this morning at 9 and was told that my room was available, and there was no one in it, but nevertheless, I needed to wait until 1:30 pm to enter the room unless I wanted to pay an additional 300 R. Then, since I needed to wait four hours (for no reason) to get into my room, I went to have some coffee and fruit at the breakfast buffet. An attendant approached me 20 minutes later to tell me I needed to pay 90R since I was not yet a registered guest. This was deeply insulting, and is also a very stupid business model. Why would you NOT try to accommodate a repeat customer who pays thousands of dollars at your hotel by allowing them into the empty room a bit early, or giving them access to your coffee and buffet, half of which is going into the garbage anyhow? Very shortsighted business model. I like this hotel for its efficiency and for its location--let's face it, it is the only good hotel near the city center-- but the lack of respect for me as a repeat client makes me unsure about wanting to stay here in the future. By the way, I also speak good Portuguese and have been working here for 30 years, so I do have some perspective.

I’d give 4.5 stars if I was allowed but not quite 5. The pandemic caused a few issues (bar been closed early and no 24 hour room service) and I had a few very minor issues-One day my water wasn’t replaced and on another I ordered room service and one of the items didn’t arrive. This happened another day but the guy realised and went back. The room was a double delux and was amazing with a great view and duel aspect. Roof top pool is great and although I didn’t use the gym there is a small one if needed. The staff were all helpful and polite and the food was good as well as the breakfast. Always felt safe and secure and the cleaners always did a great job.

There are no words to describe this experience. Wonderful hotel, staff note 1000, they treat us wonderfully, because it is low season they upgraded our room. On Sunday we rented a bike for 15 reais an hour and we had a beautiful ride. Their beach service gives us an extra comfort. Breakfast note 1000. Location is not mentioned. I want to go back to Rj not only for the city, but also for the Hotel. I never felt so good in my life. And the pool? Perfect. If you have the opportunity, don't think twice, just go!
