The door to the room I was staying in wouldn't close from the outside unless a specific hotel employee went there to close it, which greatly limited my autonomy. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and a water leak as well.

The advertising photos don't reflect reality. The rooms are old and not very clean. The bathroom wall had mold that can be removed by washing it well. The sheets were almost transparent because they were so thin and had stains. The elevators didn't work well, and we always had to wait a long time to get on the elevator. Our flight was late, and when we arrived at the hotel, it was 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the receptionist seemed annoyed. He didn't greet us and didn't seem to want to help us. When he finally attended to us, he told us he wasn't expecting any guests and that we didn't have any reservations. I had made the booking on an English-language website, and all the information was in English. He got upset about this and said only Spanish and Portuguese... In the end, he found my name and let us in, but his rude attitude was very unfortunate.

This hotel has so much potential with just a little bit of TLC and some updates! During my stay, I felt that the service could have been a bit more attentive. I did notice a slight unpleasant smell in my room, and I had some trouble with the water in the shower. I also had to wait in a bit of a long line at the lobby, which was a little inconvenient, especially without AC. It would have been wonderful if someone had checked in to see if we needed anything, like water. Overall, my experience didn’t quite meet my expectations, and I ended up deciding to cancel my reservation due to my feelings. That said, if you're considering camping near the beach, this hotel could be a good option for a night! I was surprised to see it rated as a 2 star.

The place is fine but not 4 stars. Could be a little cleaner. Service was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Sometimes there is no hot water, depends on the day. Very few amenities.
It's a cheaper option for the location, which is excellent. A good value considering this.
