Beautiful hotel immediately next to ipanema beach. Hotel has a staffed area on the beach with chairs, parasols. Breakfast is fantastic.

Everything was perfect. We felt at home. The staff is super nice and very attentive. The view from the roof top is breathtaking.

Disappointed. I had already been to the hotel once before, but this time it was quite disappointing. Bad service at the pool, very inattentive staff, slow service. At the reception also another pity, very unprepared, lack of education and pride. There was a case where the hotel even apologized to our guests, and it was quite embarrassing. It is not worth the price it charges, nor does it reflect the Fasano brand that is stamped on the facade. To the Fasano Group, I suggest an intervention in the hotel in Rio, as it could tarnish its strong brand of luxury, good service and respect for the customer.

Amazing hotel - perfect location on Ipanema beach, outstanding service, stunning pool area for sunsets & drinks.
Bed quality is beautiful - I had an amazing nights sleep.
While the front rooms with ocean view are bigger / better, then courtyard rooms are also good with great air conditioning, bathroom products, etc.
3rd stay here - will stay again!

Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations and feels significantly overrated for a five-star property and hotel that was awarded the hotel of the year for the region. While the staff was generally attentive, several aspects fell short. Upon arrival, the lobby had a noticeable mildew odor that was quite off-putting. The bedroom also had noticeable wear and tear, like peeling wall paper, and the gym facilities are limited and feel cramped, lacking the space and amenities one would expect at this level. The rooftop does offer a lovely view of Ipanema and the surrounding mountains, but the pool area appears significantly worn and in need of maintenance. Additionally, arranging transportation to the airport was unnecessarily frustrating. Despite confirming the details twice, the quoted price inexplicably doubled for two people with three large bags, with no clear explanation. Overall, while there were some positives, like being able to extend a late checkout, the experience didn’t reflect five-star standards, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again for my next trip to RJ.
