Disappointed. I had already been to the hotel once before, but this time it was quite disappointing. Bad service at the pool, very inattentive staff, slow service. At the reception also another pity, very unprepared, lack of education and pride. There was a case where the hotel even apologized to our guests, and it was quite embarrassing. It is not worth the price it charges, nor does it reflect the Fasano brand that is stamped on the facade. To the Fasano Group, I suggest an intervention in the hotel in Rio, as it could tarnish its strong brand of luxury, good service and respect for the customer.

Amazing hotel - perfect location on Ipanema beach, outstanding service, stunning pool area for sunsets & drinks.
Bed quality is beautiful - I had an amazing nights sleep.
While the front rooms with ocean view are bigger / better, then courtyard rooms are also good with great air conditioning, bathroom products, etc.
3rd stay here - will stay again!

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Hotel Fasano. Since everyone we spoke with said this hotel was the best in Rio, hands down, I think we were expecting to be blown away. Pros: Staff *****, Service, Location, View from the Pool area, Room was nice and clean. They accommodated an early check-in and late check-out which was greatly appreciated because we were there for a wedding and were coordinating with other guests staying in other hotels. Cons: We arrived on cold and raining day and decided to do the Bossa Nova Spa Ritual and Facial for two people. My therapist was awesome. However, my partner's therapist was not (it was like they were afraid to make contact). We attributed it to possibly being new and inexperienced. Since it was cold and raining, we wanted to have a cocktail and the only option is the pool, which normally would have been fine. Apparently, after 2020, they didn't reopen their bar/lounge area. We figured we would have an early dinner (6pm), but the restaurant (Gero) does not open until 7pm. Last, we found the little mirror directly on the ceiling on top of the bedto be a little creepy (note: there's also one in the shower). They are not much bigger than the recess lighting and look out of place (not artistic just weird).

The best hotel in Rio ! Amazing place with amazing team BRAVO 👏 It’s a 20 on 20 everything is perfect The location , the rooms , the pool ! The pool is heated and incredible ! The team is perfect from Mlle CRISTIANA KASTRUP to all the team the concierge , the pool , the SPA And the food is amazing bravo to Luigi Moressa the chief and his team ! It’s soooo goood ! Bravo bravo et VIVE FASANO 🤍 le plus bel hôtel de RIO et sûrement du BRÉSIL Tout est parfait ! Bravo .. un vrai Palace 👍

Si vous cherchez un endroit au Brésil ou le personnel n 'est pas agréable voir antipathique ( ce qui est extrêmement rare au Brésil )et bien vous êtes au bon endroit :(( Nous avons signalés une odeur nauséabonde à 3 REPRISES sur la térrasse et aucun retour .Une partie de la terrasse était en travaux , donc bruit de perceuse incéssant et . Il y à mieux pour se prélasser au bord du piscine au prix des chambres . Il y à une chose assez exceptionnelle c 'est cette vue sur la baie de Rio mais tres sincèrement , passer votre chemin cet hôtel devrait être un 3 étoiles pas plus ....
