Hotels near Parco Hugo Pratt, Rimini

My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel at our wedding anniversary. The structure is very beautiful, modern, I appreciated the room, cleaning and the availability of staff, not to mention the seafront position. On the site, however, it is stated that they have this Panoramic Terrace front of the Sea where they serve typical and aperitive tastes in summer. I would have liked to enjoy this service to begin the celebrations well, but on our request they told us that it was not possible without giving reason. Since it was July 13, so the summer season, I don't understand why. This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

Hat’s off to the Hotel Royal Plaza in Rimini. Nice rooms with the perfect location—a few steps away from the beach and nightlife on the Main Street yet set back just enough to miss the noise and congestion. The staff is available 24 hours a day and the manager, Oana, is always ready to go the second mile to make sure all your needs are met. Will definitely stay again on the next visit to Rimine

Staff meraviglioso, molto cordiale, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze. In questo posto emerge un alto e costante livello di attenzione per il cliente in ogni momento del soggiorno. Il ristorante offre menù a più portate con antipasto a buffet, ampia possibilità di scelta tra primi e secondi e dolci, il tutto ovviamente delizioso. La struttura e le camere sono molto pulite con inoltre il cambio del set di asciugamani quotidiano. Posizione centrale, a due passi dal mare. A row of hotels on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the beach, The night market downstairs is very lively, there are many restaurants and fruit shops, very convenient, The weekend Champions League final, the young people watching the ball on the beach is very lively, there is a party after the end, suitable for people with nightlife The room is small, the health is OK, there is a small balcony to see the sea view.

Small, Friendly Staff .. excellent ratio cost/benefit : bravissimi 👏🏻😊 Great location, great gym. The lobby is the perfect location to relax or work. Great Breakfast, loved the quality of the juices and the variety of the cakes: loved the orange cake, next time will ask for the recepie. Grazie!

The hotel is very clean, on the mountainside, just breakfast. The pool is a bit small~ It’s amazing that there’s no quilt, only a thin layer of sheets, I don’t know if the hotel has heating. We found 2 blankets in the closet and added them together. It’s not too cold~

This is supposed to be a four star hotel but while the staff are mostly very pleasant and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable, the place is soulless! The decor is drab and uninviting with little to relieve it. There was a convention on while we were there but there still appeared to be no public areas to sit other than reception or outside, and when we were there it was raining. Dinner was buffet style so we didn’t go there but to a much nicer restaurant opposite The bar is tiny and stuck in a corner with no proper seating. Breakfast is mostly pastries Italian style although there was the option of overcooked bacon and rubbery scrambled egg! Cheese ham and some fruit was also available. Parking was difficult as the garage was full and there is limited free parking on the street outside. The positives are that the position of the hotel is great for a beach holiday as the beach opposite is free and the cleanliness of the place is good. It was fine for a one night stay- if somewhat expensive for what we got- but there are other much nicer looking places nearby if you are staying any longer.

This hotel should be called the Imperiale Napoleanic Hotel. It has grandiose ambitions towards 4 stars whilst delivering a very disappointing experience to its guests. Despite the presence of antique items in the reception area, the reality is far less grand, much more in keeping with the uncomfortable plastic thrones on the terrace. Firstly..the room. Shabby, uncomfortable mattress and flat pillows, smelly bathroom with no working extraction system, no complimentary toiletries other than a tiny bar of soap and a shower cap. The fridge is off and empty, no tea & coffee and no drinking glasses. Now to the restaurant..oh dear !!. The decor is totally over the top, overlit to the point of being blinding, and horror of horrors, each table is decorated with a piece of coral in a bowl. Breakfast is supposed to be a buffet. It is not. A table separates the guests from the food trays and one must queue to point to the waiter to indicate what you would like him to place on your plate. My husband was shouted at on the first morning for wrongly picking up a large plate. He angered the waiter again when on another morning, being in a rush and finding no waiters in the restaurant he started to serve himself. What a nerve !!!! I only attended breakfast once. Far too stressful and the offerings are meagre. eg: the only fruits available were prunes and plums which the server handed to you in the tiniest of bowls. The management is not concerned with environmental issues, as the water and watered down juices are served in plastic cups. Why not a glass? The first course at dinner was also supposed to be a buffet. Again, one had to stand back and point to unidentified dishes and be served by the waiter. The next two pre- ordered courses were mostly inedible, followed by a no choice dessert. The staff in the hotel were not particularly friendly or helpful. I hated the atmosphere in the restaurant and if only other places were open nearby, would have eaten out. One evening we met some interesting fellow guests and were finishing off our drinks in the lounge area. At around 11.15 pm a member of management, who I nicknamed Lurkio, passed by a couple of times with a glowering expression and proceeded to turn lights off. There is NO way, in any stretch of the imagination, that this hotel deserves those 4 stars and should be re-assessed, in fairness to other hotels like the nearby Sans Souci which thoroughly deserves them. Don't even think about staying in this one. The only good thing about it is the proximity to the beach and there are plenty of hotels that benefit from that.
