Finally, an amazing BnB! Our room was very large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Despite the chilly January weather, inside was super cozy and warm. There was a large pit couch to relax on with blankets and cushions to cuddle in to. The bed was crazy comfortable and the bathroom, updated to perfection. All of the colors are fresh and inviting making an overall homey feel. The coolest part was breakfast and lunch. You could tip toe down the stairs in your pajamas and have breakfast. I love that! The fire was cranking and the rolls and coffee were hot. Perfect, right? The food was good, the table immaculately set adding to the charm and interest of Rijsterbosch. It certainly was a wonderfully unique experience. I'm already planning a girls weekend out there. Once you're at Rijsterbosch, you can park the car and leave it. Take a short, robust walk to the nearby sea. Is that not amazing? Peruse through the woods in the backyard and awe in wonder at the huge trees and powerful winds at the beach. There are a few cute and cozy places in the area to visit and grab a quick bite or cold beer. Frisland kind'a freaked me out. Hehehe...There is water everywhere making nearly every spot, a place worth stopping, taking a long look and a deep breath. The houses are totally different and mega, mega cute. It is the cleanest, tidiest place I have ever been to and I travel a lot. The roads were perfect?! It is very flat. Nature is everywhere and it's full of beautiful wildlife including an amazing array of birds. The best part about our trip to Frisland were the people. I come from a southern, warm climate where I thought THE nicest people lived. Turned out I was wrong. The friendliest people live in Frisland and two of them are hosting at Rijsterbosch.

Fantastische locatie, met buitengewoon vriendelijke uitbaters! We hebben een overheerlijk diner gekregen en het ontbijt is ongezien. Alles vers, lekker, van lokale boeren en winkels en zelfgemaakt. Het karaktervolle gebouw met grote kamers doe met stijl zijn ingericht. 2 mensen met een grote passie voor het vak en haar gasten. Ons zie je zeker terug en we brengen al onze vrienden en familie mee. Hartelijke groetjes

Jederzeit wieder!
Das B&B Rijsterbosch war eine Freude.
Ein grosses, helles Zimmer mit einem sehr bequemen Bett, grossem angeschlossenen Wohnzimmer und vor allem gut ausgestattet mit Tee und Kaffee.
Das Frühstück war avwechslungsreich, reichhaltig und hat sehr gut geschmeckt!
Ich freue mich schon auf nächstes Jahr!

Heel mooie en rustige ligging. Prachtige regio om te verkennen met fiets of al wandelend. Warm en gezellig onthaald door de uitbaters in een indrukwekkende gebouw. Heel lekker eten en drinken, een ontbijt waar nu eens niets ontbreekt en waarmee je vlot de dag doorkomt. Dit allemaal In de gezellige leefruimte met platenspeler die enige nostalgie met zich meebrengt. Proper en verzorgde kamers. In één WE is er niet genoeg tijd om mooie natuur en gezellige dorpjes te ontdekken. Wij komen hier zeker terug om al de andere pareltjes proeven en te ontdekken. TOP.

Prachtig verblijf, majestueuze kamers en gezellige leefruimte. Overheerlijk en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Aan de rand van het bos en op een steenworp van het Ijsselmeer. We maakten een mooie fietstocht langs de pittoreske dorpjes in de directe omgeving.

Els en Jorgen is een perfect gastechtpaar. Jorgen de stille kracht achter de kachel en Els aan de voorkant. Het bijzondere is de min of meer de persoonlijke band. Ook het ontbijt is overvloedig met ook gezonde onderdelen. Goede tuin met terras faciliteiten.

Er zitten sinds kort nieuwe eigenaren in vandaar dat alle recensies van ongeveer een jaar geleden niet meer representatief zijn. Ons recente ervaring volgt hieronder: Een prachtige Bed & Breakfast met een oase van rust, omringd door de natuur. De omgeving nodigt uit tot wandelingen, fietstochten of gewoon ontspannen op hun heerlijke terras. De nieuwe Vlaamse eigenaren heten je van harte welkom en zorgen voor een gastvrije sfeer. Een van de hoogtepunten van ons verblijf was ongetwijfeld het eten en drinken. (Met name het stoofvlees en de sangria ;p) Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!
