we stayed here one night. we paid for an upper floor. at check-in, desk clerk put us on the second floor, I said no, we paid for an upper floor. His reply, well, hot air rises so it's hotter on the upper floors. Say what? Each room has its own AC, it shouldn't matter. We took the second floor room. Got to our room, the AC said it was 61 degrees, felt more like 81 degrees. Went downstairs to change rooms. We were moved to the fifth floor by the very nice front desk young lady. The room was nice enough; showed signs of much needed maintenance: the bathroom door was sticking on the bottom, had to manhandle it to get it to close or open; one of the mirrored closet doors was missing; the luggage stand was broken; no coffee cups in the rooms; wallpaper in bathroom was needing replaced. We were on the west side of the building so we did not hear the freeway noise and the room was quiet, we did not hear anyone above us. Also, It would be nice to advise guests at check-in that ice machines are only on the even-numbered floors. The staff in the kitchen area need to be reminded that they are in the hospitality industry. A smile goes a long way. If you don't want to be there, get a different job.

We had to go through 4 rooms to find one clean enough. This was the worst Hyatt we’ve ever stayed at. Felt like a trash hotel. Dirty, old, appears decor has all been removed. Front desk did not seem to “care” about customers. Housekeeping did find us a clean enough room. Will never stay there again.

This felt like a 1 star hotel that was converted. It was horrible - our 1st room had water running all over the floor from the a/c unit; bathroom was dirty; toliet wouldn't flush and we could not get any towels for my entire stay unti the night before we left. We were there for a family reunion and many of the guest had the same issues - i couldn't believe it when the girl told me they didnt have any clean towels in the hotel. I was like are you kidding me -it was just horrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not the level that I would expect from Hyatt. I was just at a Hyatt in St Louis and the experience was totally the opposit. I've stayed at this brand in Miami as well and never experienced what I experienced at this location. I found myself cleaning the room because they were not clean.

Room was clean and as expected. Went to The Placery in the hotel to get food. After 20 minutes of waiting she brought me 1 of 3 items I ordered and only at that time let me know they didn’t have all the ingredients for the other items. In other words she was making one entree at a time and I was about to wait for 40+ total minutes. I decided to leave and go pick up food. They did comp the food, I’ll credit them for that. Overall the hotel staff is lacking immensely in training and many of the previous reviews mention items that exist still. I will not be returning.

They ran out of liquor at the bar and was waiting on the delivery truck. Breakfast the next morning the waitress came out and stated they had ran out of food, this was 8:00 am.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at ever. They advertised a bar. We went to front desk and asked and were told all they had was beer. They were waiting on the truck to bring liquor. The next morning we went down for breakfast at 8 am and we’re told they were out of food. How on earth do you run out of food at 8am. Obviously the manager is not taking care of business. Checkin is at 4 and some people had to wait until 6 o’clock before their room was ready. Staff acted like you were bothering them by being there.

The hotel itself was nice and had great accommodations. A majority of the staff that worked the front desk and breakfast areas on the date of June 9th-June 12th. It appeared to be the Minority women who had the worst attitude. Any question asked or inquired was a problem for them. One staffer even slammed the grits into the water of the holding place right next to me and splashed water on my hand after asking about bowls for the potatoes. I was scheduled to stay until June 27th. I was unexpectedly and abruptly with no knowledge checked out of my room from my stay. I found this out through the finalized bill. I frantically last minute had to locate a hotel for my children and I to accommodate us until June 27th ( my original hotel checkout date with Hyatt) This is a very nice facility with a few minor issues that were completely fixable. But my experience with the staff customer service was simply unacceptable.

Jessica Patrick assisted me with setting up a room block for my AAU basketball team. The rooms were clean and we didn’t have any issues. I had to request extra towels but the front desk took care of it. The hotel is located steps from a shopping mall with nice stores and eateries. We have stayed at this hotel on 3 different occasions for athletic events since January. I would not keep returning if I had issues. If I had to nitpick, the players said the breakfast started out really good but the quality was not as good after the first hour.
