Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park for just one night during a short trip, and it was one of the smoothest hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the property overall felt very well maintained. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was fresh, with plenty of choices. What really made my stay stand out was the fantastic service from Varn Patel. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to help with anything I needed. Great customer service goes a long way — and Varn delivered. Highly recommend this hotel whether you're in town for business or leisure!

I stayed at Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park for 2 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable — just what I needed for a relaxing break. I want to give special recognition to VARN PATEL, who was an outstanding team member throughout my stay. His professionalism, warm attitude, and willingness to assist with anything I needed did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely helpful — he made a great stay even better! The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and everything fresh and well-stocked. The staff overall was friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient and easy to access. If you're planning to stay near Ridgefield Park, I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park in May and booked the “Park, Stay, and Go” package. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Despite requesting an accessible room in advance due to a broken ankle and mobility scooter, we were told on the day of arrival that none were available. The first room we were given had a broken lock and we had to wait in the hall with luggage while they figured out how to fix it. When entering the room there was a strong rotting food smell coming from the fridge and we had to request another room. The most frustrating part was the shuttle service to and from the cruise port. We were told there would only be one shuttle at 8:30 AM and no option for a later shuttle, so we scheduled our cruise check-in accordingly. On the day of travel, there were too many guests and not enough shuttles. After standing outside with about 20 remaining guests with no communication, we were eventually picked up two hours later in an old rusty van. The return shuttle was just as chaotic, with conflicting information being given to guests on pickup times and locations. No one from the hotel or Hilton has responded to my emails about our experience. For guests with accessibility needs or relying on shuttle service, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

We traveled with a group of 29 people on a bus, adults and children. It was a nice hotel with a great breakfast. We felt safe in the hotel. It did take us an hour to get to 9/11 memorial but we were within a half hour of Times Square. I highly recommend the hotel for bus groups.
