Honestly was such a beautiful stay and location. me and my partner were trying to scheme ways to live there lol I am now trying to get my friends to come for the summer for a weekend get away. Will def be coming back.

Beautiful, clean, relaxing place. We were treated well by everyone there. Ir was quiet and restful with a fireplace in our room that overlooked the water. Nice balcony overlooking the water even if you are not in water view room. Good location for exploring historic St. Mary’s town. I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee/tea bar.

Wonderful B&B to stay when visiting SMCM We loved the house and grounds. On the water. Beautiful view of the sunrise out our bedroom window. Innkeepers are world travelers and have many stories to share. We’ll have to go back to hear some more. 10-15 minute drive from SMCM. Wonderful alternative to the Fairfield, Home2 and Comfort Inn.

We stayed at the Swanendele Inn for just a single night while visiting with our son at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The inn and grounds are charming and the owners and staff are friendly. Breakfast was lovely. It would be nice to have stayed longer.
