A really cozy hotel, with a nice twist on the minibar and lovely products in the bathroom. Location is quiet, but yet near Twickenham main street and just a half hour walk away from the stadium. Good amenities in the room and the restaurant serves real ale ＜3 The brunch manu was good, did not have a chance to try anything else. Night porter on the morning of June 3rd was an absolutely wonderfully nice and helpful man! The only minor complaint is that our belongings were moved around the tables during cleaning and my bamboo washcloth had dispappeared from the bathroom tap. I work in hospitality and the number one rule is not to touch customer belongings even if this means you cannot do the cleaning. Also all of our used towels that were hanging either on a hook or shower curtain rail were changed. I know how expensive laundry is for hotels, so this is maybe something want to go through with housekeepers. And ofc there is the environmental aspect and since you have the sign in the bathroom about towels it gives a bit of a mixed message... But all in all a nice visit and if I ever find myself in Twickenham again, I'll surely be back :)

Always enjoy staying at the Alexander Pope. Location is perfect for me to visit family; local bus transport is directly outside and the hotel is walking distance to shops and station. Staff are all excellent - especially Adina at Reception.

Very nice Hotel, clean room and nice hosts :) The pub is also quite nice, with a sort of conservatory and some outside table for summer days. The only negative point is that the floor from the floor above creaks quite a lot and I was unlucky the 1st two nights with someone walking a lot (what the h... was he/she doing??). The Cooked breakfast is also great with quite a wide choice.

We stay in the hotel one night a week and thoroughly enjoy our stay. We have just one grumble and it concerns lighting in the bedrooms. There is no centre light and the overhanging bedside lights are somewhat dim. They were part of the last Young’s renovations. Even with an angle poise lamp on the desk it still not easy to work in that light Otherwise no complaints the staff are all great and welcoming

Business trip and first stay for me at this hotel. I must admit to being impressed and not what I expected. Had a decent room that viewed over Radnor Gardens and the Thames. All staff encountered were super friendly. Had good sleep for the three night stay. After a working day it was relaxing to have a pint and walk across the road and sit in the gardens to watch the river traffic go by. Easy access from both Twickenham and Teddington rail stations.

Lovely hotel in a great location by the Thames - stayed here as we wanted to visit Marble Hill House Parking not quite as ample as advertised but room was lovely overlooking the Thames Great location for all the food venues in Twickenham Recommend and would return

Great stay lovely staff rooms great good atmosphere and amenities would definitely recommend the location brilliant for Twickenham and teddington would definitely return excellent for tube station and a very nice location staff couldn’t do enough xx

Amazing hosting, we were able to check in from 10am which I didn't think would be possible and even upgraded our room for free to accommodate us to have a balcony room. The room was stunning and the bed was super comfy. Slept really well. The free parking was a massive bonus to. Super central to all the shops.

An exceptional hotel, with relaxed but effective and efficient service. The pub areas are very nicely decorated and they have a refreshing outdoor garden. The rooms are beautifully furnished, fully air conditionned and spotless. We will definitely be visiting again and recommend it.
