We stayed in the dairy with a hot tub. It was a perfect relaxing chill time. All the staff were lovely , they took time to chat with us and made us feel at home which is how we felt here. Breakfast was a treat with plenty of choice. We would highly recommend it, looking to book again pre Xmas.

Our son’s wedding was held here and the whole experience from start to finish was first class. Customer service was exemplary with the wedding co-ordinator, Stephanie and General Manager, Glen on hand to ensure everything was perfect. Fabulous food and a beautiful setting for the wedding. Great memories were made thanks to everyone at Middleton Lodge.

Wow! What a venue! From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. We stayed in Dairy 7 the night before my son's wedding and the suite was gorgeous! Dinner was at The Coach which I'd highly recommend if you're a foodie. The service was top class as well. The ceremony was just beautiful and watching the bride come down the spiral staircase was emotional. The wedding meal was delicious and dessert was one of my faves, sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be back again for a spa weekend ❤️

Had the full Middleton Lodge experience for 22 hours. Delicious lunch, well equipped spa, wonderful massage treatment, magnificent dinner and fabulous breakfast. Absolutely dreamy. Lovely staff, especially Phoenix the bartender with amazing skills! Really REALLY enjoyed it, and finished lovely walk around the estate. 5 stars isn’t enough! It was expensive, but worth every penny.

We absolutely love Middleton Lodge! We’ve been a few times before but we were staying recently for a wedding and it was incredible. The customer service, food, the estate itself - all lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to return again.

How sad in the photos the wedding venue looks so good in reality it’s tired ! The sweeping staircase looks fantastic but not in reality no flowers nothing ! Just bare no atmosphere at all The service for the wedding breakfast was excellent , staying in the hotel a different story the service was atrocious ! Two people serving breakfast ! In the end we got up and served ourselves! Sorry Middleton estates but won’t be staying there again !

Unfortunately Middleton Lodge did not live up to expectations or more importantly the price! On arrival to a family wedding we were given a very unhelpful map of the grounds with a extremely poor description of where to go to our rooms. My dad walks with a walking stick and we explained how he struggles to walk to which we were told it was a short and easy walk to my parents room, to our disbelief it was what i would consider a long and difficult terrain walk for an able bodied person never mind a nearly 80yr old with poor walking capabilities! We had pre wedding drinks in the gin lounge where the service was unbelievably slow and the drinks prices were insultingly expensive! The wedding evening was exactly the same. Lack of staff and a severe lack of bar experience, not what you expect at an apparently prestigious wedding venue. Onto our room. We were met with huge cobwebs on the door and a few inside. Waking up in the morning in a £250 a night room you would expect hot water, unfortunately not! After ringing reception someone came around to the room after 30mins and told us the water should be warm within 10mins. Due to the fact checkout was at 10.30 and we needed to have breakfast we’d had to take the decision to have a cold shower. Next was breakfast where i was astonished to find out that we had to pay extra on top of the £250 to have a full hot breakfast. Needless to say by this time we’d had enough and finished our cups of tea and left to checkout. At checkout we explained the cold water situation to the receptionist to which we just got a reply of “oh well we did send someone to fix it”. All in all a very poor and expensive experience.

Really nice meal and lovely venue. The food was of a high quality however front of house was rather disjointed sadly forgetting drinks and having to be promptee on multiple occasions. The lamb to start was incredible a must try. The downsides charging 5 pounds for children's cucumber sticks and extra for a small portion of butter these are things regardless of the high standards need to be stopped as just reflects as money grabbing sadly.
