Such a lovely and unique hotel experience! I stayed here with my parents a few decades ago and was delighted to bring my husband for a quick weekend getaway this holiday season. What a thoughtful way to preserve historic row houses for a unique hotel experience. Front desk staff, housekeeping, bedroom, beds, private sitting room area, and lobby/lounge were all (respectively) welcoming, immaculate, comfy, and elegant! The only drawback was our very outdated and poorly lit bathroom, which was out of step with the other modern renovations sitewide. Hoping this one is soon to be revamped as other reviews here compliment modern bathrooms. Excellent location centrally located between the major attractions at either end of Richmond. A wonderfully quiet neighborhood with a few great walkable eateries nearby (our faves were lunch at Perly’s and a pre-dinner cocktail at The Jefferson). Parking on the street is easy if you pay attention to the signs, and you can load in & out directly in front of the entrance before you find a parking spot. Easy! Thank you (and Annabelle the sweet round cat) for such a lovely stay! We will be back!
