The Boulevard Inn

Cannot say enough positive things about this amazing gem which was a former grand home located in The Fan. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance to the museums and great dining and it is such a sumptuous, indulgent, delightful boutique hotel. It is truly gorgeous, beautifully appointed and the team strive to make every stay the best yet. My grown children live close by and I like to stay here for a little “Grammy pampering” from time to time. I absolutely love everything about it!!

Wonderful visit - everything about the inn was perfect! It is immaculate and beautifully furnished with care and an eye for detail and design. Loved the Happy hour and breakfast was delicious - all prepared with quality ingredients. Roni and Mitch are gracious hosts! Guests comfort is a priority from the deep front porch to the welcoming library to the peaceful bedrooms. Definitely will stay here again!

We can’t wait to go back. The home is lovely with no detail missed. Staff and owner are so welcoming and have a myriad of recommendations. Happy hour was a nice surprise. Brunch was so yummy that I want to make it at home. Bedding and room were super comfy! Restaurants and shops are within walking distance and fun for exploration. Love all the antique china and linens used, which add a special touch! Thank you!

Once again, my husband and I stayed at The Boulevard Inn when visiting my sister in Richmond. Jeffrey greeted us as always upon our arrival and we enjoyed wine and a generously sized charcuterie tray with other guests during Happy Hour, 5-6 PM each day. One or both of the owners (Mitch and Roni) always make it a point to greet guests at breakfast, along with Sidney who assists in laying out the delicious pastries from a local bakery, fruit bowl, yogurt, English muffins, toast, juices, and a different egg dish each morning. A water pitcher with citrus and the Jura coffee station (to provide coffee, lattes, and/or cappuccinos) are available 24/7. We always book the Boulevard Suite because of its large, luxurious bathroom, comfortable king-size bed, and balcony with chairs and lounges. The inn is walking distance to Carytown which offers numerous restaurants and shops as well as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and The Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Maymont Park, the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Hollywood Cemetery, Belle Isle, and many other historical destinations in or near downtown Richmond are a short drive away. The Inn is one of the finest establishments we have encountered in our many travels; it's the only place we will stay when visiting Richmond. Highly recommended.

We stayed at The Boulevard Inn for two nights on our recent road trip in Virginia and it really was the top of our list of the places we stayed. Mitch and Roni have restored the house to perfection and with great taste. The Inn is in an excellent location, a short walk from Virginia History Museum and The Museum of Fine Art. Maymont Park is also close by. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance. Parking at the rear of property is a bonus. On arrival we were greeted by Jeffrey, who showed us round and made us feel very welcome. At the social hour we were able to meet other guests and Jeffrey recommended and kindly made dinner reservations for us. We stayed in the Boulevard Suite at the front of the house. It was immaculately clean and well equipped and had a private balcony. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well. Breakfasts were excellent with delicious specials each day. We would highly recommend a stay at The Boulevard Inn and would have no hesitation in returning, we'd love to come back.

We loved our time at the inn. It is perfect in every way. The clawfoot tub was a delight, and the quiche Lorraine was delicious. Every detail was exquisite.

Walk to VMFA and other sites from this beautifully appointed manor. Mitch and Roni get all the details right. Each room is different. Mine had a big soaking tub, a little writers desk, and a gorgeous bed. Breakfast was exceptional. Hospitality was warm and helpful. I can't think of anything negative to say. One piece of constructive criticism: the pillows are too overstuffed and uncomfortable to sleep on. I'll bring my own next time.

Well appointed facility - beautifully restored and decorated. First class service in every way. The wine and appetizers each day were lovely as was the breakfast. Central location.
