Checked into the Vine family room, opened the door, the two-bedroom room was clean and comfortable despite the low ceiling, especially the bathroom, which was newer than a traditional motel. However, after having dinner in the restaurant downstairs and returning to the room, I turned on the light and came out of the shower. The master bedroom was full of bugs on the ceiling and bed. It turned out that there was a gap in the window. Even when the window was closed, the bugs flew in when they saw the light. I killed the bugs overnight. Unfortunately, after communicating with Ctrip, the hotel claimed that it was normal to have bugs in hot weather. Guests staying in this room must draw the curtains after entering the room to prevent the bugs from swarming in when they see the light.

Good price, the place is old but easy to find with good parking places.
Staff was busy with pub service and waited with family in the pub area before check in.

A wonderful historical Pub in the heart of Richmond TAS, the Richmond Arms Hotel built in 1888 after a fire destroyed the original pub was lovely to stay in for a night.
They have a great selection of beers, wines & cider and a great menu for lunch & dinner. Roast Pork & vege’s was amazing.
The accomodation is very basic, room comes with a TV and a few toiletries.
The bathrooms need an upgrade and the shower needs a good bleaching.
But overall, if you love old historical pubs this one is for you.

Check in was easy. Room was clean with a lovely garden and lake view. Water was provided for seperate drinking which was appreciated. Highly recommend the restaurant also! Delicious food and cosy vibes.
