The location is very convenient, just a short distance from the airport. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness, which fell far below the standards expected of a hotel or motel. It felt as though I was staying at my grandmother's house, where housework hasn't been done in months. I found dead mosquitoes on the bedsheets, and the duvet was quite dusty.
I was surprised to find a cleaning fee of 40 CAD charged at check-in. Unfortunately, the conditions were intolerable, and I decided to leave after the first night. I kept the door to the shared bathroom open and informed them of my departure, hanging the key on the doorknob. However, it seemed that neither the owner, who lived in the same house, nor the cleaner noticed my exit. This raises concerns about the cleaning standards, as it appears no proper checks were conducted. How can a cleaning fee be charged if the room wasn’t even inspected?
This place may be suitable for families or new immigrants looking to explore the area, but be prepared to do the cleaning yourself.
