Courtyard Richland Columbia Point

The staff excels in friendliness and professionalism. Guests enjoy comfortable beds, clean spacious rooms, and a peaceful riverside location. The hotel provides business-friendly amenities and a scenic pool view.

First of all, this place is more expensive than most Courtyard Marriotts and far less nice. Don't be fooled by the pretty lobby and decent-appearing rooms. We had to move rooms at midnight because they put us right above the boiler room and we woke to deafening noise that shook the floor. At first the alternative they offered us was a room where a tree bangs against the window. I said I'd take that over the boiler room but I prefer a quiet's night sleep, especially when I'm paying over $200 per night. They finally put us in a quieter room, but we were again awoken at 4 am by our neighbors seemingly having a party. The walls are so thin - at one point we were sandwiched between these 4 am partiers and kids who woke up at 6 am to watch cartoons. We were both wearing earplugs and the sound was still really loud. The room seemed decently clean with with a decent view, and the one positive was that the initial people who checked us in were helpful and lovely, but that's about it in terms of positive things I can say about this hotel.

Love this hotel and this location! Staff was super sweet, we enjoyed the gal who checked us in yesterday afternoon (5/4) but didn’t catch her name, but she was wonderful! Loved our view of the river. We had an issue with the toilet running and running so maybe have someone look into that at some point but overall, we had a great time and we will be back!
