Sleep Inn Johnstown

I was in town to visit the Johnstown Flood memorial and museum and needed a hotel for one night. The Sleep Inn looked like it had a great combination of reviews and price, so that's where I stayed, and I was very happy! The front desk employee who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. The hotel had luggage carts. The bed was very comfortable; I slept well. The wifi and TV both worked. The room had a fridge and microwave. The shower had hot water. The room had good lighting. The breakfast included sausage, egg disks, bananas, yogurt, cranberry juice, cereal, toast/bagels, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, pastries (YUM!), and fruit cocktail. My only concern was the road noise was pretty loud, but the heater had a constant fan option that drowned out most of it. I would definitely stay here again.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johnstown

We stayed one night while visiting family in the area. We loved this hotel. Good location, and the rooms are efficiently designed to achieve comfort and quiet at night with good sound insulation and black-out shades on the windows. The complimentary breakfast was also very good with a wide variety of choices and attentive staff that refreshed the food and beverage stations as needed. The only negative that comes to mind is the added $5.00 parking fee ( I mean, really?) Despite this mild annoyance, we will likely stay again when we return to the area.
