I hadn't intended to give 1 star; however, when my Google review was met with excuses (which appears to be the norm based on owner responses to complaints here), and fabrications, it warranted adjusting my rating. In a nutshell, our biggest issue was having rented a pontoon, not getting the one that was promised and finding that the pontoon we did receive was a POS. The gear shift required excessive force to move, which a simple Google search will tell you is most likely related to faulty cables or some other mechanical issue. I took a video of my husband actually struggling with the gear shift. We literally had to be rescued by an employee of the establishment, which the owners eventually acknowledged in their response, but stated that this employee actually started the boat, which is a flat out lie. They also stated that we did not make the issue known while on the property, which is also a flat out lie. No apology or refund offered. Integrity = Zero. Note that all rooms are lakeside but this doesn't mean all rooms have unobstructed lake views. Home made pastries and fresh fruit are actually scones contracted from a local bakery and a Cutie orange in a paper bag. If you stay here, you'll want to book a room on the right side of the property (if facing the lake) for direct access to the pier and unobstructed views. Even better, book a room with a kitchenette. If you're claustrophobic stay away from #10. It will also require navigating across the main deck (stairs) to get to the swimming area unless you walk around the building. I did not see that the deck area was handi-accessible, but they do have ADA rooms available.
