Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße und man hört den Lärm in allen Zimmern sehr stark. Vom Ozean hingegen ist nichts zu hören und kaum was zu sehen. Die Substanz des Hotels ist sehr alt, alles ist ziemlich heruntergekommen, verwittert, abgebrochen, verrottet, verrostet und wird nur notdürftig wenn überhaupt repariert. Schallisolierung ist nicht vorhanden. Man hört vorbei laufende Menschen als stünden diese im Zimmer! Wenn jemand hofft ein bisschen Ruhe und meeresrauschen im Garten zu hören, der wird nur wummernde Bässe aus der Hoteleigenen Surfer-Bar hören. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr unbequem und undurchdacht. Licht im Zimmer ist einfach schrecklich. Es ist eigentlich zu dunkel, wenn man aber das Licht einschaltet, wird es nicht heller im Zimmer, man wird nur von schlechten LED geblendet. Das Frühstück ist a la carte. Sehr dürftig für ein Hotel mit Übernachtungspreisen von 340 Euro! Achtung Hyatt Globalisten: Ihr Status wird hier ignoriert. Auch ein schlechtes Zeichen: der Manager vom Hotel versteckt sich hinter den Angestellten. Fazit: Das ist das schlechteste Hotel was wir auf den Azoren hatten. Das Einzige Positive hier: schöner Strand.

Das schönste Hotel der Azoren! Wunderschönes Hotel mit einer tollen Architektur, super Personal und eine perfekte Lage. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und das Personal verzaubert einem dem Aufenthalt. Die Bar und das Frühstück sind super lecker. Das Hotel liegt direkt am schönsten Strand von São Miguel und in direkter Umgebung befinden sich tolle Cafes und Restaurants. Das Zimmer selbst war großzügig und hatte viele kleine Extras. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Ein kleines Paradies. Einziges Manko: ist das Service-Team beim Abendessen.

Lovely place. Blue and green suite with deck and swim up pool were great. Staff very warm and kind. Breakfast was excellent, although 0800 start time is late. Sadly we had to leave early on our last day and asked about breakfast options. They offered a breakfast box which was very underwhelming. We asked about having coffee delivered also and they could not accommodate this. Seems for the price and level of this hotel, they’d had better options for early in the morning. Dinner view was spectacular. We had the most gorgeous sunset! We were advised to make a reservation, which we did. When we booked dinner, we asked for a table outside and they said it would be depending on availability? Seems odd and like the reservation was pointless. Luckily we arrived a bit early for our reservation, because there was only one outside table left, and they told us we should go ahead and be seated or someone else would take that table. Overall a great stay, but these few experiences with the dining could be improved, especially for a resort of this level and price point.

Serviço péssimo! Inacreditável! Todos os pratos foram pedidos com antecedência! Tudo atrasado, o vinho veio no fim! Para cumulo no fim dizem que o bar fechou e que não servem os cafés! É uma pena ao fim de tantos anos darem cabo deste restaurante!

Excelente localização, acesso direto à praia do areal de Santa Bárbara. Quartos modernos e funcionais, recomendo os quartos com piscina, é extremamente agradável sair do quarto e ter a piscina a 3 metros. Serviço muito simpático e prestável. O restaurante tem umas vistas de sonho. A comida é boa.
