Utilizámos pela quarta vez e será a última! Um local que era de descanso e sossego absoluto. Apesar de se notar ser pouco cuidado, este ano, faltava limpeza, pessoas para trabalhar e sobretudo a paz e sossego. Todos os dias acordados pelos barulhos que as próprias funcionárias incentivam. Peque almoço sem cuidado onde as moscas pairavam sobre todos os alimentos e colocavam muitas limitações na permanência nos espaços interiores. Sem regras na piscina, utilização de espaços comuns, etc. Grupos de hóspedes fazem o que lhes apetece. Por vezes é preciso mudar! Nós já o vamos fazer, o Convento de Provença já o fez.

Era para ser só uma noite, acabamos por ficar 2, por causa do empregado do Restaurante que recomendaram, que nos levou a fazer a reserva da mesa para o dia seguinte, logo assim que chegamos, tivemos de reservar a 2a noite. E ficamos com pena de não termos ido à terceira noite. Obrigado por tudo, especialmente a simpatia da Ana e da Melissa, fizeram de tudo para que a nossa estadia fosse a melhor. Desde pequeno almoço, a aventura com a tesoura, o espaço da piscina, a calmaria do local, a companhia dos Jumentos :) Muito obrigado e recomendamos vivamente este espaço :) nos vamos voltar com toda a certeza :)

Het hotel ligt heerlijk rustig in de natuur. Alleen maar natuurgeluiden van de dieren. Schitterend gebouw met zwembad en terras. Uitermate vriendelijke ontvangst en mooie grote kamer met mooie badkamer en heerlijke bedden. Mooi zwembad erbij. Goed ontbijt geserveerd door twee wat oudere dames die er nog echt voor gaan. Goede uitvalbasis voor mooie routes. Goede wifi en alles kan. 's avonds geen echt restaurant maar wel lekkere snacks. Kortom, absolute aanrader.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Convento da Provenca after visiting nearby Marvão during the day. Arriving around 3pm, the approach is along a 500m dirt track (steep and bumpy at the very start but our SUV had no problem). Check in was quick and friendly and the owner was very helpful. Our room was fine - a little basic and the bed was not super comfortable - but it had all we needed. Convento da Provenca Is located in the countryside and is very quiet and rural. The area around the hotel is very rustic. Finding somewhere to eat nearby was a little difficult, particularly on a Monday when many places are closed, but we found a lovely taverna 10 minutes drive away. Breakfast was reasonable.
