Lovely setting with thoughtful and professional staff. It was relaxing and beds were very comfortable. We left early for a kayak trip, and the front desk made us coffees. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly. Dinners and wines were delicious as well! Great views only from the high rooms.

Very clean and modern hotel. Spent three wonderful days in the area. Used the facilities a few times. Marred by evening meal serving way undercook trout, told this was how fresh trout is served in that area. I could/would not eat it. No other restaurant said that is how trout is eaten. Hotel very fair in not charging and giving a discount without being asked.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bohinj. We were stranded late at night after inclement weather required us to turn back in a hike. They had a room available and 24/7 front desk reception that allowed us to check in. Beautiful cozy modern hotel with a woodsy feel. Delicious smelling shampoo. Cozy robes. Wellness spa included in the stay. Friendly staff and a delicious restaurant. Will be back.

Magnifico hotel! Costruito molto bene con una concezione ecologica molto forte. Belle e pulite le camere, buona la colazione e professionale il personale. Siamo stati molto bene anche se solo per due notti. Abbiamo cenato una sera al ristorante, molto buono anche se un po' caro. Piccola e raccolta anche la spa e ottima l'offerta delle due ore giornaliere gratis comprese nel soggiorno. Ci dovremo tornare sicuramente: abbiamo promesso a mia mamma di portarla ;) Se proprio devo cercare qualcosa che non va, direi che nel bagno ci sono pochi appendini per gli accappatoi e gli asciugamani. Ma questa è proprio una piccola cosa ;)

We verbleven een week in halfpension in dit hotel. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zowel aan receptie, poetsdienst, wellness als restaurant. Ruime moderne kamer, leuk ingericht en netjes. Zalig bed om in te slapen. Minpuntje: bij aankomst was de tafel op ons terras vuil + vuile asbak. Gedurende gans ons verblijf is dit zo gebleven, 7 dagen dus. spijtig dat dit niet is opgeruimd geweest, diende eigenlijk netjes te zijn bij aankomst. Dit werd gemeld aan de balie. Hotel: mooie architectuur, zeer sfeervolle tuin met zitput rond houtvuur in de avond. Toplocatie op wandelafstand van het meer van Bohinj en perfecte uitvalsbasis om in deze streek te vertoeven. Minpuntje: we waren met auto en meestal zoeken voor een parkeerplaatsje: de parking bij het hotel is wat te krap. Ontbijt: heel erg uitgebreid en verzorgd ontbijtbuffet. Lekker en vers. Minpuntje: vanaf 8u is er showcooking (bv omelet enzo). Spijtig dat vroege vogels als wij (en vele anderen), die iedere dag om 7u aan het ontbijt zitten, hier dan nooit kunnen van genieten... Je zou bv 1 of 2 dagen per week ook showcooking kunnen aanbieden vanaf 7u. Avondeten: mooie en uitgebreide kaart, met tal van lekkere gerechten. Wij verbleven er 7 dagen en hebben 7 dagen lekker gegeten. Een dikke plus is de uiterst mooie en lekkere wijnkaart! Proficiat met de mooie selectie wijnen!! Wellness: gebruik gemaakt van de Wellness, dit kan 2u per dag en dit was zeker in orde, hoewel wij het liever wat minder druk hebben, maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen. Ook genoten van een overheerlijke lichaamsmassage! Top! Misschien nog wat inspanningen doen aan de minpuntjes en dat is dit een 11/10!

Hotel (architecture, design of the rooms) is very nice. food was very tasty (for us l- adults), however no possibilities for kids (no kids menu) who are not fans of fancy (quite like fine-dining) food. i would like to point out that it is almost an adult friendly hotel. no pool possible for kids (pool on photos is only something like jacuzzi/whirpool, not a swimming pool and not a pool where kids are allowed).

The hotel is beautiful in a great location. This is a hotel worth a recommendation. There were issues that surprised us so thought it was worth mentioning. On the second day in the the room it became obvious the air conditioning was incapable of cooling off the room. The front desk said the would check it out. Upon returning later in the day there was no note in the room or message. I returned to find out status of the problem but had to restate the issue. I asked the person to accompany me to the room to see for themselves. Upon review the person agreed, yes, the a/c will not chill the room to the digital temperature selected on the thermostat. When I mentioned that I didn’t really care about the listed numerical temperature value and that we were only interested in having an air conditioning that can chill the room to something chillier than the outside summer temperature, the answer was, it’s not broken and that’s the best it can do. We had to sleep with the door open to the terrace open to get some fresh night air. So essentially 3 nights in an uncomfortably hot room. Really unfortunate.

Une très grosse déception avec la chambre confort. Au rdc qui donne sur le parking! Un lit super dur et oreiller déplorable. Demandez absolument à choisir vos oreillers et surmatelas... Heureusement la nuit suivante nous n'avions pas pu avoir la même chambre et nous sommes passé du côté du lac. A demander sans hésiter. L autre bémol est la construction d'un autre hôtel juste en face de l'entrée du restaurant tellement dommage. Et surtout pas très plaisant d'avoir des bruits de marteaux piqueurs à 8h du mat pour le petit dej... Sinon l'hôtel est somptueux, le petit dej de qualité. Un feu en ext pour les soirées. Attention le spa et piscine d'extérieur est exclusivement réservé aux adultes. Je n'ai pas spu y accéder avec ma fille de 7 ans. Grosse déception sur ce point. Mais le lac offre plus... côté baignade... Dernier point , j'ai été assez surprise de la froideur du personnel. Vraiment pas souriant et arrangeant. Ça n'est que en écrivant à l'hôtel que j'ai eu enfin une chambre à la hauteur du prix....et seulement le lendemain...

We loved our stay at Hotel Bohinj, from the design and quality to the location. You are just steps from the stunning Lake and its beauty. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious - make sure you have a freshly cooked omelette! The fire pit in the evening is a great shout - they also had live music when we were there which was a lovely touch for some atmosphere. The spa facilities are lush, and if I was being really picky, could be a bit bigger for the space they have. A perfect stay and start to our Slovenian holiday! Thanks to all the staff for their incredible hospitality!!
