Charming accomodation, pros and cons on our stay at the lovely blue "Boat House": Pros: - Clean throughout, bed, bathroom, toilet etc - can't complain. - 6 eggs, bacon, OJ, yoghurt, museli, cereal, oil, butter, jam, vegemite, honey, salt, peper and crackers included. Love that as save money going out for breakfast. More coffee pods would be nice though! - Comfy bed. - Spacious bathroom, good water pressure in shower. - Comfortable sofas and charming aesthetic! - Distance to attractions in the area is great, very well appointed. - Carport included so I was very happy about that when it hailed! Haha. Cons: - When I originally booked this many months ago, "ocean view" was advertised. It was almost completely obstructed by trees. On the flip side I see the website has been updated now and that has been removed, so good for future bookers but I was disappointed initially as I booked this room entirely based on that. - Walls must be paper thin because we could hear every flush and shower next door took, which was infuriating when they took x3 20 min showers between 1am - 2am in the morning... perhaps provide ear plugs (commonly provided in city hotels) so people can block out noise to sleep if needed. - Main large burner in the kitchen doesn't work and was missing a peice - I think the cook top might need a service. All in all a very positive stay, but not 5-star worthy.

We recently stayed in Acorn Cottage for 3 nights. We chose Rhyll for peace and quiet away from Cowes and the cottage did not disappoint. Very comfortable king-size bed, breakfast supplies in a great little kitchen, roomy bathroom and a sunroom to reflect on the day’s adventures. Everything for our needs as well as off-street parking. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
