The Cardiff Celtic Hotel near the airport is a convenient choice for an early morning flight. It offers comfortable rooms and a friendly staff.

Excellent friendly obliging staff, though the next time we book to stay here we'll be sure to ask to be at the back of the hotel, away from the main road and car park. The room needed airing but it didn't feel right to leave our bedroom window open as we spent the day on Barry Island, before catching an early flight. Didn't eat there due to dietary requirements and they were good enough to put a small something in their fridge to cater for my wife's needs. Convenient bus stops outside the hotel, cabs available as well, though we walked to the airport as it was a nice day and we were early, with little traffic on the Sunday.

The room was spacious and cool. The service attitude is good. When you enter the door, someone is eager to help you carry the bag and guide you to the room.

We stayed one night at this hotel for an event in cardiff. We paid £130 for the night for a basic room that was dirty, stained and the bathroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to request another room as we had to leave quickly after arriving. The lady on reception was lovely and helpful as we arrived and the reception area was clean but the room was disgusting for the price we paid.
