King Arthur Hotel

Located on the Gower Peninsula, the accommodation provides clean, comfortable rooms with excellent facilities and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient staff, as well as the varied dining options.

We visit the Gower a couple of times a year and this is our favourite place to stay. We stayed in another annexe room on the ground floor this time as all the other rooms were booked. The windows open out onto the lovely garden though I didn't feel comfortable leaving them open at night being on the ground floor. Comfy bed and the bathroom was great with a bath and rain shower. The cooked breakfast was very good made with local produce and set us up nicely for a day's walking on the nearby beaches. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and it was again very good. The pie in particular was delicious with huge pieces of succulent beef. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It didn't impact our stay but the addition of a small fridge in the rooms would be nice and some pastries with breakfast. We will definitely return but try to book further in advance next time and opt for a first floor annexe room which has the better views of the beautiful gardens and beyond.

Yet another superb evening at the King Arthur. You couldn't fault the friendly attentive service. There was an imaginative specials menu, and all our meals were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Thank you to Alex and the team.
