It was our 6th day in Iceland so by that time we figured that campsites can be bad. So we decided to check them out before checking in. Hlid didn't really look too appealing. The facilities looked old and tired and untidy. No personal shower stalls so you have to wash and dress in a common area. On top of that, at 2400 ISK it happened to be the most expensive camp we saw. The staff are nice though.

Based on services included this was not a bad price (showers and toilets included in the price)Included were internet which was available at the reception area and the dining tent area and if camped closed to reception the signal would work as well. The kitchen tent had 6 picnic tables, 2 -2 burner gas stoves and a hot water pot, as well as a bar b que grill. There 6 cabins (all booked upon our arrival, spaces for tents, and campers that needed electric hookup. There are 3 sinks for washing up dishes. Clothes lines were available outside and in the restroom to dry items. There were 5 bathroom stalls and the shower had 3 community heads. Will say the shower water is pretty hot and difficult to adjust.

O parque de campismo é básico, tem poucas condições, só tem um chuveiro para homens e outro para mulheres, no entanto ainda havia algumas pessoas, logo havia muita gente à espera para puder tomar banho.A água estava constantemente a mudar de temperatura não sendo nada agradável. Os Wc estavam mal cuidados possívelmente nem eram limpos.Os espaços de estacionamento são razoáveis. O preço não condiz com as péssimas condições é muito elevado. Parque de campismo não recomendável.

this campsite was great. The bathrooms were very modern and clean. There were two sets of toilets - one close to reception and one further out. Both nice. The sites were level and the view was beautiful. If staying here, bring a head net. This was the only place on our trip that we encountered midges, and they were full force! Overall nice stay.

Sono stato in questa struttura 3 giorni fa con la mia compagna e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. La struttura gode di una bella vista, bagni e docce pulitissime e con acqua molto calda. La zona per il camping è grande, hanno anche una ostello li vicino dove è possibile cucinare, la cucina e sala mensa è molto grande e fornita. La consiglio la migliore fino a questo momento in Islanda
