Perfectly adequate for our requirements.

A very well-maintained and clean option, with a helpful approach. Straightforward check-in with good arrangements for cyclists. The house is a little bit of a walk into the town centre, but very convenient for heading south from Retford. Comfortable - and also quiet, despite being on a main road. I did not find out until checking out that there was a kitchen available to guests, but that did not matter too much, as I found a good option for breakfast virtually opposite the house.

Visiting family and friends Fabulous value for the size of room.We have stayed here many times when visiting family in Retford. Our room this time was a little disappointing compared to all the other rooms we stayed in.The bed was a double but we only had a single wardrobe and 5 hangers.Usually there is ample wardrobe space and a seating area.I will definitely return but will ask for the rooms we've had on previous visits. It is a very comfortable place to stsy and handy for walking into town.

Short holiday to see family We always enjoy our stay at the Lawns when we come to Retford to visit family and friends. The rooms are much bigger than average and there is plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely big towels and a good supply of hot drinks and bottled water.Extremely good value.

We were visiting family and The Lawns was just around the corner. Someone was there to show us the well equipped kitchens if we wanted to cook breakfast or any other meal. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were amazed at how everything was so clean, organised and such good value. Superb greeting on arrival, so helpful.

The welcome was outstanding, very helpful with support as my son is blind and autistic. The set up meant that we weren’t tied to meal times etc and that was perfect for our need to have flexibility. Other guests were very sociable and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay, lovely room and lovely warm welcome. We will be back Llinos Jones
