We were looking for a peaceful location for a much needed break, this property was unique, extremely comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. The host was lovely and so friendly, made us feel very welcome and kindly asked us to help ourselves to some of the lovely apples from the orchard. The local pub, the Boat Inn was so good we ate there both nights we stayed, would highly recommend and would definitely return

Great Little Place Lovely serene location with great pub on corner of the road. Great for dogs - they loved the freedom, although Maureen (our naughty JRT) did find a way out through some rabbit holes! We’ll be back x

Restorative Visit We were in the area visiting family nearby and this was a wonderful place to spend the week! The hosts were so helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed the chats we had with them as we ran into each other! It was also a joy to see their friendly dogs around as we left our own back home. The orchard around the cabin was so peaceful and quiet; we saw pheasants, foxes, pigeons, and rabbits (and even an adder in the canal by The Boat Inn!). The bed was comfortable, probably more comfortable than the bed we have at home honestly, and the shower worked very well. We enjoyed having our tea and breakfasts out on the porch each morning. This was a wonderful stay!

Excellent Last minute booking absolutely beautiful, tranquil location for an overnight stay. My husband and I enjoyed everything the log cabin had to offer and facilities were perfect. The hosts Sally & Simon plus their doggy friends were exceptionally welcoming. We will definitely return, hopefully in the winter to experience the winter wonderland with the cosy log burner 😍
