"Located in the center of Kailua-Kona, it is a very convenient location as you can reach the beautiful townscape in just a few minutes on foot. The cleanliness of the room was decent and there were no particular issues of concern. As we were a family of four, it was appreciated that there were two bathrooms when getting ready in the morning. Breakfast is included, but it is eaten outside, so I am a bit concerned about hygiene. Honolulu has a lot of Japanese people and does not have an exotic feel, but Kona is not like that and is known as a sunny town, with good weather most of the year, making it a highly recommended city. I think it is just right for those who are planning to go to Kona and want to sleep in a hotel."

"We live on the first floor, and the footsteps upstairs are as clear as stepping on your head, dong dong dong. A big thunderbolt for light sleepers! ! There are a lot of cockroaches, both big and small, and I am worried that they will be brought home in my suitcase. There are really a lot of them! ! ! The bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen, everywhere. If you just want to have a place to sleep, you can try it, otherwise forget it, thunderbolt"

"The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime."

"The staff at the Wyndham Kona was awesome, especially Joy, the woman who helped us make a lei. The front desk staff was very helpful. Our room smelled clean, but on closer examination the carpet needed cleaning and the area around the kitchen faucet needed attention. Probably due for a remodel. The facilities were good, but we wish there was something happening at the bar area of the pool. Our deck overlooked the pool/hot tub courtyard which was lovely, and not noisy. The grounds are nicely maintained. The only negative aspect was that we had trouble confirming our reservation. After my husband read reviews about people arriving and not having a reservation, I called the resort a number of weeks before our arrival. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant, but unable to confirm, suggesting that I call trip.com. Trip.com confirmed the reservation, and explained that they had sent a file to the resort, and the resort must not have opened it yet. I called a week later, and received the same information, so I asked trip.com to contact the resort, which they did. I believe that I made three calls to the resort and three calls to trip.com before the reservation was confirmed by Wyndham about a week before our arrival, which was a bit of a hassle, but everyone I spoke to was pleasant and tried to help. One person in a review said that they checked in late, after four I believe, and there was a problem with their reservation, but that wasn't an issue for us. We gave the resort our flight arrival time of 2:30, and they told us that we wouldn't be able to check in until 4pm, and we might as well go to Costco, which we did. Everything was fine."

"The room is large, the environment is beautiful, the transportation is convenient, the health is very good, the facilities are complete, and it feels like home. Very close to the snorkeling point, there are big supermarkets around."

"A nice condo style resort, very nice to have a kitchen and separate bedroom. While everything was clean and comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are a little worn and in need of a refresh. The staff were friendly and helpful, happy to pick you up on their golf carts. There is no access to the coast, so no sunset views. But the grounds are well kept and pretty. Tennis and pickleball are very popular here, seems local clubs play here all the time. Front desk has equipment but getting a court to play on is difficult. The resort has coolers, beach seat and umbrellas, kids toys and other beach stuff to grab for the day. Very thoughtful. We had a fabulous time and would recommend the resort."

"Very good location. There are just more budget friendly options near the same location. Service is great. I feel for the price already paid the fact that lunch or dinner for 1 person is almost the cost of another night stay is kind of ridiculous. The best amenities here can be enjoyed without being a guest."
