Residence Inn Seattle South/Renton

Best spot to stay just across from Gene Coulon Park. Always clean,friendly and quiet. Easy access to freeways and close to The Landing, a shopping area and restaurants. Free breakfast is ok - the scrambled eggs are a bit funky tasting. But no worries, you can cook your own in your room if you want! Lunch is simple, just go to the park for Ivars or Kidd Valley burger. Sit on the waterfront. If you just want to slow it down from Seattle, stay here and take in the lake. Comfortable bed. Which is a Marriott standard!

This is a great place for an extended stay. The rooms are large and comfortable. Ours had a balcony patio, which was a nice bonus. The staff is friendly. They offer covered parking. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to the interstate. We would definitely return to this location.

An ok stay at this newish Residence Inn late November - nice quality . Covered Parking was nice. Breakfast average. Some good restaurants in Renton and the freeway and SEATAC airport fairly close by. Nice walkability to the lakeside park and bird sanctuary.

As a Marriott Bonvoy Member I have stayed at many properites so to say that this one is my favorite is quite the statement. Full kitchen, plush living area, well appointed bathrooms with quality amenities, and good lighting. The only thing I wish it would have had was the ability to stream to the TV (Chromecast) from my phone. Can not wait to return :)

One of the best Residence Inns I have ever stayed at. Awesome layout of room. Everything is new with no odor. Internet works good. Nice big walk in shower. Parking is close and convenient to hotel rooms with direct access elevator. Staff are very nice and welcoming. This hotel should win lots of awards! Totally Awesome Hotel!

This property is about 2 years old and is very well kept. The propping was very clean and staff was curious and professional. The king bed was separated from the living work area by a dresser with a TV on top. The TV pivoted to accommodate either area and a work station was created so that you can use the TV for a second computer screen. The kitchen is full sized (just two burners no oven) and stocked to meet your needs. I really like the shower design and took pictures for remodel ideas. The Residence Inn is within walking distance of the Landing which is nice for walking shopping and eating. I will return, it’s a nice location, water views are as nice as the Lake Union Residence Inn, but this one is cleaner and newer with a slightly better breakfast.

Located on Lake Washington Boulevard not far from Interstate 405, the Residence Inn Seattle South/Renton is part of Marriott’s chain of extended-stay hotels. I stayed here three nights on business during late March 2022. It is located within walking distance to Lake Washington, and within short driving distance to shopping and numerous restaurants. My studio suite was clean, attractive and quite roomy, with contemporary appointments and a very functional kitchen. The plumbing, air conditioning, appliances, flat screen television and complimentary wireless Internet were all in good working order, and the king bed was comfortable. The room also had a decent work station with enough outlets to charge my multiple electronic devices. In addition, I really enjoyed the ability to access my streaming services directly from the TV. The bathroom included a large, modern shower and a very quiet (but effective) exhaust fan. The one amenity that was not provided was hand lotion, so keep that in mind if you plan on staying here. The complimentary breakfast area was spacious, but I wasn’t able to take advantage of it as I had to leave for work before breakfast service began at 6:30 a.m. The common areas were sleek and extremely well-kept. I was impressed by the hospitality demonstrated by the staff; everyone I encountered was friendly and gracious, and several referred to me by name. I had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn Seattle South/Renton and will happily stay there again should my travels bring me back to the Renton area.
