We stayed here based on positive reviews. Don’t let them fool you. Arrived from New York to Reno airport to find the bar below our hotel room was throwing a party. Throngs of wasted people. We would have left right there and then but we had already been charged for the room and it was late and we were tired. We located a hotel worker who tripped walking us up the stairs to our room, which by the way was vibrating from the EDM. The room is not as nice as the pictures. I did fall asleep from 12-1 AM but woke up to, I kid you not, an orgy in the room below us. Feeling gross. Hopefully we don’t leave here with bed bug bites.

Modern and clean boutique hotel
My husband and I stayed at Jesse Hotel for 2 nights. Hotel bar and restaurant were closed temporarily during our stay. It was a bit of disappointment. The hotel itself was neatly decorated and very clean. There is no elevators, so be prepared to take few flights of stairs. It is located right next to a bus terminal, and in a bit of dicey neighborhood. There are bars and concert venue nearby. Few minutes walk from El Dorado.

The overall look and decor of the hotel was lovely. The bar and coffee was excellent along with staff friendliness. Only issues were a nearby bar was so loud until midnight it wasn’t restful, and general soundproofing was not great, where you could hear footsteps and conversation in neighboring rooms like it was in your own room. Stairs were noted in other reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise but definitely only good if traveling light. Parking was questionable as homeless people checking out vehicles with easy access to lot.
