Went up to the lounge up on the 15th to get generously welcomed by Alisha & Keiosha!!! Super nice respectful and helped me with things to do around the city

I’ve stayed here over 10 times in the last years and never had a problem. Unfortunately, this last time it was far from great. During my last stay which was from July 17 - July 20, 2025, I noticed a lot of new staff and I didn’t care because I assumed they all were knowledgeable of what they were doing. However that was not the case. When I arrived for check in I gave my name and offered to give my confirmation number and the lady said no it’s okay so I just gave her my name and she noticed that my check in was for July 17th but I arrived at 2 am on July 18th and I was aware of that which is why I chose to already have paid that night. She asked for my card and said she needed to adjust the stay since I technically arrived after July 17th 11:59. I had no problem with that, all I asked was “I won’t be charged again right? Because my entire stay is paid for already and I have my confirmation number?” She guaranteed I wouldn’t be charged again. I took her word for it and Sunday came, I called for a late checkout that morning and they said okay. I was beginning to drive back to San Jose when I noticed there was a whole separate charge for a room under my transactions so I drove back to Whitney Peak to sort this out. Turns out I paid almost $1400 for a basic stay ($605+$750). Of course I tried to fix this immediately but the manager was gone the afternoon I was checking out and noticed these transactions. I spoke to Diana at the front desk and she was assisting the best she could given her position at the hotel but unfortunately she didn’t have the credentials to refund my money. The next day(Monday 07/21) I tried to call back shortly after I missed a call from the hotel but “the manager was not in the building” so I called again on Tuesday 07/22 around 2:50/3 pm , and “the manager was not in the building”. Having said this incident 280 times to the front desk people that don’t have the credentials to fix this I asked the front desk lady who answered how I can reach the manager somehow because it’s been more than enough time to reach back out to me. She said I can leave a voicemail however I HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT, so what’s next? She was so unsure and useless on what to do it was completely ridiculous and then she proceeded to hanging up on me instead of helping. Crazy and poor customer service! Not to mention, once I got to my room, my neighbors directly to the right were SCARY. They started screaming at us through the walls when we got to the room and when my partner walked out to go back down to the lobby they opened the door to see who we were and SLAMMED the door, which was very uncomfortable. Very disappointed with the hotel and my stay!!
