I understand why they charge you when you arrive: otherwise, you would leave before the end of your stay. If the reception staff welcome you well, smiling and understanding, and the breakfast is decent, on the other hand, the rest is not good. The ("family") room I am given on the 1st floor of building 2 is dirty (see photo of the soiled carpet - he is using products to clean it -), overlooking a fenced courtyard, with a window sill black with dirt (photo). They no longer give you water because they have to save money, but... you cannot adjust the "heating" (= reverse air conditioning) which indicates 23 (I am told that it is in fact at a maximum of 19) nor the strength of the fan (contrary to what I am told). There is no heating in the shower room (-2° yesterday morning, March 14). The switch system and the shower system are straight out of a Soyuz spaceship from the 60s. In short, not at all at the level of an Ibis Styles, nor of the asking price (137 euros per night from Thursday to Friday, with the ALL discount!). The staff, no doubt accustomed to customer complaints (I understand that the other rooms are no more comfortable, a colleague of mine in building 1 has the same problems), tries to do what they can; I am given an additional heater for the 2nd night (if I hadn't paid, I would have gone to the Mercure). This is not good at all. The place should be closed and renovated urgently. It is well located opposite the station and therefore deserves much better. So do we.
