Basics not met
Dated room/hotel. All would have been fine but the toilet continuously had the flush running and the shower was broken; constantly on boiling hot with no way of turning it down, therefore we couldn’t use the shower. Not good enough for any hotel room never mind spending £100+

Another lovely meal at the Sitwell Arms. The new menu is fab and I'm looking forward to going back next week with friends. The staff were exceptionally busy but smiled their way through it and were very pleasant throughout. The new menu made it difficult to choose as it all looked lovely. However I chose the lamb which was just perfect.

Had a beautiful meal last night from the new menu, My Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection 👌🏼 The service was great and our food came out in perfect timing from starter to main to dessert! Just could do with some fans dotted around to keep us cool!

We stayed in a family room with dinner, bed and breakfast for one night. The beds were comfy and the room dark/ quiet so we had a good night’s sleep. Water nice and hot in bathroom but ceiling very low over bath so had to crouch to use the shower and ended up having to hand hold it as couldn’t get the shower head high enough or at the right angle! Dinner menu is large with lots of choice and we enjoyed our meals and drinks. Breakfast was good although the room we ate in was very cold. The overall hotel is clean, neat and tidy and felt spacious.

I went for lunch today 19/02/24 at 13.30- with my mum and daughter. The food was lovely. Prices fab with the offer. Restaurant was absolutely freezing though. It was warmer in the toilets than in the restaurant. The service was brilliant, the young guy that served us (black hair) was absolutely run off his feet and didn’t really seem to be getting much help for a large portion of the time we were there. Regardless he was polite, helpful and welcoming. So thank you!

Lovely meal, great service, warm comfortable environment and very friendly staff. We had a voucher given as a gift so chose from the ‘voucher menu’ which was varied so plenty of options, no complaints at all. Would definitely recommend a visit to The Sitwell Arms
