Continental Hotel

Even though the staff was friendly, the location is great and near the parking garage. We had to leave a night earlier because we just couldn’t sleep there, the sound of ventilation was extremely loud and we couldn’t turn it off. There weren’t any water glasses in the room or coffee cups, no kettle, no tea basically nothing (at least a coffee machine was there). For this price we would be okay with that but the sound was truly disturbing. And if the hotel pushes for sustainability-then just put normal glasses in the room instead of paper cups (wrapped in a plastic bag btw), which produce more garbage.

Fantastic stay at this hotel! All of the staffs are friendly, high efficiency and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Had an excellent one night stay and can’t recommend this hotel enough. Staff were excellent from the get go and we appreciated that our room was ready early, understanding that’s not always the case. They were super helpful with storing bags at checkout, too. We really enjoyed the hotel breakfast, in particular the hot chocolate and the ample fruit / crepes. Great location by the train station. Highly recommend if you are spending a night in Reims.

The location can’t be beat, we stayed for 2 nights and rented the suite. Nice comfortable space, I like the glass bottles and water station provided by the hotel to reduce plastic bottle usage. We had free glasses of champagne at the bar one night and did eat dinner at the restaurant the second night. Food was good - it was cold and rainy and we didn’t want to venture anywhere else after a long day of sightseeing, and the butternut squash soup and chocolate soufflé were both highlights! Few small things could have been better, but all in all it was great for 2 nights! Did not eat breakfast there, sought out local bakeries instead.
