I've stayed in this hotel quite a few times over the past year and although I'm the first to admit that it needs quite a bit of TLC, it also has a few good points; The positives: 1) spacious rooms (the double rooms, that is) 2) it's conveniently located right off the M25, 3) there's plenty of free parking 4) it's only one mile from Reigate station and Holmesdale where there a number of takeaways and an excellent Chinese restaurant, the Five Spice, 5) It suits my budget. 6) The staff on the front desk are helpful (within limits) and some are even attractive. This hotel used to have a dinner option but there weren't enough takers for it. They have recently introduced a Breakfast option. I haven't tried it as I usually just get up and go on my way. The negatives: 1) The entire place is in need of refurbishment 2) on my last visit I had a mattress that was past due for replacing. (I emailed the hotel about this and they said they were looking into it. Hopefully something will happen. 3) some of the clientele are not exactly top-notch. On my recent visit there was a guy polishing off 4-5 cans of Fosters while sitting outside. 4) Note that the single rooms are fairly small and with thin walls on some of them.

I only needed a place to arrive late, sleep, get up and go. So this place most affordable for that. Clearly on the ropes in terms of their product. Desperately in need of more effort and investment. But…it worked for us on this occasion.

Very run down Hotel, no bar or food ?? Immigration Centre ?? That's probably why one of the other customers complain of '****' smell

So far I've been able to put up with the shortcomings. However this time it's one of the hottest days of the year and they assigned me to one of the hottest parts of the hotel with no fan or A/C. I asked them at the front desk for a fan or to assign me to another room, but I got the usual 'all rooms are full 'bla bla bla' that I've heard several times before. Presently I've propped the door open with a chair to try to get a bit of cross draft. Not exactly something you want to be doing in a hotel. I would have given a better score, but this takes the cake

I booked and then received 12 emails with regards to my booking. I had to complete 2 of these to check in and get my room number and front door code. I did not do it immediately as at 74 I wanted someone who could help me do this then on Saturday I was in an area with no signal. I arrived and called a number that was on the reception desk, a lovely lady came to help me and explained everything. The hotel is like a rat run, up stairs, round corners, down a few stairs and so on, a very kind man who I believe was going off duty showed me to my room, however, the timer on the lock did not work so he took me to anther room. Both members of staff were brilliant, if I had a hotel I would like them to work for me. Everything was very clean with a generous towel allocation. The only thing I would moan about was the mattress, it was extremely uncomfortable and I felt the springs and it must be decades old. There was great signage for fire doors but needs more signage to indicate where reception is. Please spend more money on the place, fake flowers in the entrance does not make up for neglecting the basics. Finally, there was a man who I saw twice, both times he had a can of lager in his hand.

Pretty basic hotel. Not many staff and completely unhelpful on where to hide a bike. Restaurant not open. Room was okay but shower was very low pressure. Bargain basement, and you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend they advertised that they had air condioning rooms restaurant and bar what I’m actually fact what we got was no air conditioning on the hottest day and no offer of any fan restaurant doesn’t open and they don’t serve food and no bar. Just false advertising and such absolute disgrace of a hotel stay well away

Sorry, but this is not a great hotel. It is cheap to be fair. There is a stupid door code system which doesn’t work. We booked 2 rooms but got one code which didn’t work. Phoned the hotel number and got a call centre of sorts who didn’t understand my request for 2 codes (which work) kept me on hold for 20 mins and then gave me the original code which is phone to advise didn’t work 🤦🏻‍♀️ Eventually someone came up and override the code on one room (the one with the broken aircon unit and which stank of ****) but couldn’t get the other door to work so told us either to stay in the room and not come out again (!) or get them to come up every time we need to go in! I wouldn’t hesitate have serious security concerns as no way to manually or physically lock from the inside and it became very obvious that the code he gave us for the first room is an override for ALL the rooms. Not secure at all. We wouldn’t stay again, it was a cheap stop-gap en route to the coast. But avoid it if you can. Bedding and towels were all clean. TV worked.
