I booked and then received 12 emails with regards to my booking. I had to complete 2 of these to check in and get my room number and front door code. I did not do it immediately as at 74 I wanted someone who could help me do this then on Saturday I was in an area with no signal. I arrived and called a number that was on the reception desk, a lovely lady came to help me and explained everything. The hotel is like a rat run, up stairs, round corners, down a few stairs and so on, a very kind man who I believe was going off duty showed me to my room, however, the timer on the lock did not work so he took me to anther room. Both members of staff were brilliant, if I had a hotel I would like them to work for me. Everything was very clean with a generous towel allocation. The only thing I would moan about was the mattress, it was extremely uncomfortable and I felt the springs and it must be decades old. There was great signage for fire doors but needs more signage to indicate where reception is. Please spend more money on the place, fake flowers in the entrance does not make up for neglecting the basics. Finally, there was a man who I saw twice, both times he had a can of lager in his hand.

Pretty basic hotel. Not many staff and completely unhelpful on where to hide a bike. Restaurant not open. Room was okay but shower was very low pressure. Bargain basement, and you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend they advertised that they had air condioning rooms restaurant and bar what I’m actually fact what we got was no air conditioning on the hottest day and no offer of any fan restaurant doesn’t open and they don’t serve food and no bar. Just false advertising and such absolute disgrace of a hotel stay well away

Sorry, but this is not a great hotel. It is cheap to be fair. There is a stupid door code system which doesn’t work. We booked 2 rooms but got one code which didn’t work. Phoned the hotel number and got a call centre of sorts who didn’t understand my request for 2 codes (which work) kept me on hold for 20 mins and then gave me the original code which is phone to advise didn’t work 🤦🏻♀️ Eventually someone came up and override the code on one room (the one with the broken aircon unit and which stank of ****) but couldn’t get the other door to work so told us either to stay in the room and not come out again (!) or get them to come up every time we need to go in! I wouldn’t hesitate have serious security concerns as no way to manually or physically lock from the inside and it became very obvious that the code he gave us for the first room is an override for ALL the rooms. Not secure at all. We wouldn’t stay again, it was a cheap stop-gap en route to the coast. But avoid it if you can. Bedding and towels were all clean. TV worked.

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s dirty, the staff don’t care, in four days my room was not attended to. Asked for the AC to be fixed, it was broken. I was told every day that they would look in to it. No fans in the hottest week of the year. The sheets don’t fit the bed properly so they slide off. I was given two tea bags for my stay and was told that was my allowance. Two coat hangers for all my clothes. The bar was never open, so no snacks. The restaurant was not open so no breakfast. You had to order food and there was no guarantee that it would get to you as you were very lucky if you caught someone on the front desk. There are no phones in the rooms so they can’t notify you. The anti-slip on the bottom of the bath, in my opinion, is non existent. WiFi, if you are really lucky you’ll get 3/4G in your room. Allegedly it’s a non smoking hotel. However, people smoke in the rooms and the smell comes into your room too. Rubbish is discarded at the back, viewed from all the windows on the left and no attempt is made to keep the area tidy. Save your money and stress and go elsewhere because that’s exactly what I have had to do as this place became incredibly intolerable. I’m sure someone will write after this is published that they had the most wonderful experience here!!

Cheap, but poorly maintained hotel. Horrible mattress, covered in just one sheet, and pillows. Toilet seat is very thin plastic, which flexes and doesn’t stay in the up position. Water dripping through ceiling in hallways. Only good for a cheap bed for the night

I'm the first to admit the hotel is not in tip-top shape. On the other hand, in my view it does the job for the night - as long as you are not too bothered about things not being up to standards. When working in the area, all I need is a bed and a room at a reasonable price and this place fits the bill. It's evident that a lot of people agree since the place is very often full. What I like about it: The location is great, right off the highway and less than a mile to a small area of restaurants and takeaways near Reigate station. The woman on the front desk is attractive and kind. What I don't like: mattresses should have been replaced years ago. all the rooms need at least about £500 of renovations. the main lobby needs several thousand invested in it. There is a seemingly disused bar and a sitting area that is not very inviting. You can see that this used to be a pretty nice hotel. it's just unfortunate that it hasn't had proper investment in quite a long time. If you would like a place that's essentially a bargain and can put up with things not being perfect this might be your kind of place. If you dislike things not being done to a high standard then you'd probably be better off elsewhere. One thing I'd say to people leaving negative reviews is this: Read the Reviews BEFORE coming here. Plenty of reviews state clearly that it's not a 4-star, a 3-star or even a 2-star establishment. Not sure why so many people are surprised about this.

Basic hotel. I hate leaving negative reviews but honesty is best. It is very basic! For what we pay it was okay for an early morning flight the next morning. Beds are uncomfortable and only two pillows for two people. Small double beds. Upon requesting another 2 pillows were told they weren’t any more as the hotel was full. Carpets are very old and could do with a deep clean or replacing. Balcony is basic with fence panels between each one. Not very secure. Lots of parking and close to Reigate town. I wouldn’t recommend and I probably wouldn’t return. The whole hotel is just old and grubby.

Access to the room from the car park was difficult with large suitcases. The property has numerous sets of stairs, with no lift or assistance from staff with luggage.
We tried to order food, the menu was in Romanian, staff were unable to translate. We ordered food from Uber eats and were told that we couldn't borrow a fork. The property appeared dated and need of minor repair.
