Certainly not a 4-star hotel. Due to some family business I had to stay for 2 weeks. Originally we had asked for a standard room. Many things in the room did not work, certain lights, the drain in the shower just to mention the biggest issues. When I asked to switch rooms, we found out that they had given me a 'contractor's room' for the full price. After some negotiations I got a new room and they actually gave me an 'upgrade'. The room was better, only a few light bulbs were out, but most of the other things worked. The mattress in both rooms were very lumpy. Sleeping in the middle of the bed with the head on the foot end worked for me. The staff, if present, was not friendly and never initiated as much as a greeting. They asked me how often I wanted my room serviced, I thought ever 4 days would be reasonable. Besides the room change in the beginning, I got new towels on the second day and the last day. Bed sheets were not changed, bathroom not cleaned. It claims to be a smoke free hotel, but the lobby and restaurant smell like smoke. Most of the employees stand right in front of the doors smoking as do many guests. The outside seating area did not get cleaned the entire two weeks. There were many flies in the lobby area. Two times people came into my room in the middle of the day, without knocking, I don't know if they were employees or guests, but they had a key and walked away without saying anything or apologizing. I would certainly not stay there again.
