Summer Place Hotel

It is worth an extra $20 dollars to stay somewhere else. The place is unsafe (stairs breaking, cameras pointed directly into your windows) dirty (mold, roaches and broken fixtures) and the owner is often shirtless and extremely inappropriate. Please beware

Had a great time, it's a wonderful location right next to the beach, restaurants, shops, transit to the highway . Friendly staff, the owner Dan is super helpful with anything you may need. Clean rooms and a great price !I can't wait to stay there again.

The hotel was truly amazing; both the comfort and cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Its location just steps away from the beach made my stay even more enjoyable. Dan was extremely helpful and friendly. I was very happy with my experience here and I definitely plan to stay again.

Good price & location, very outdated. I think this place may be an old convent. The room is very small. I don't need much - just a place to sleep. Cold outside and the rooms have no heat so a space heater was issued. It did the job. Place is clean but old and very outdated. Attendant allowed late checkout so I could shower after running the local marathon. Location is great - walking distance to main attractions. All this is acceptable to me - however the noise barrier was terrible. Can hear pedestrians outside talking. Other is rooms above, next door, seemed like they were in the same room. Need earbuds here to get some good sleep.

I’ve stayed at the Summer Place Hotel in Rehoboth Beach last year, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and incredibly convenient place to stay right near the boardwalk, this is it! The location is unbeatable — literally a minute walk from both the beach and the main drag of shops and restaurants. I loved being able to grab coffee in the morning, hit the beach, and then stroll to dinner without ever moving my car. The room was exactly what I needed — simple but comfortable, with a cozy bed, cold A/C, microwave, fridge, and cable TV. Everything was clean and tidy when I arrived. I also appreciated how quiet it was at night, especially for a place so close to the action. Staff were super friendly and helpful — check-in was a breeze, and they were happy to recommend some great local spots to eat and explore. I also liked that they gave me a parking pass, which made things so much easier. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it doesn’t pretend to be. What you get is a cozy, beachy vibe in a fantastic location — and for the price, it’s an amazing value. I honestly didn’t want to leave.

Got what I paid for. basically is a bed in a room and a shower. Shower was cold, but bed was warm and comfy. Walls were super thin, we were kept up by couple in the next room over. Dan was pretty cool
