Very good hotel, they upgraded our room to a family suite and it was amazing, huge room with nice amenities. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Free breakfast was enjoyable and a nice perk. If you are in the south shore this hotel is an amazing option!

This was a very nice and recent hotel. Our room was clean and well decorated. The breakfast was very good. The person assisting in the breakfast room was always smiley and ready to help.

We love to stay here when visiting the south shore. A great BW location just off the highway close to amenities with excellent complimentary breakfast, very clean and nicely furthished rooms, and friendly staff. Thank you so much for an excellent stay! We'll be back!

The past 3 times I have stayed here there is always construction happening negating a quiet morning. The television was big and beautiful however would not connect for us to watch. The desk clerk was not very helpful and basically told us sorry, but there is nothing they could do. The air conditioning was not operating at a reasonable level and it was 32deg. outside. Again, we were informed there was nothing that could be done. Lastly the shower was horrible. Not a steady stream of water and it was a loud and high pitched sound. Usually we have had a lot of good luck here and decent service. I was highly disappointed we didn’t get the latter. I’m so tired of paying $300+ a night for much less than I can have at my own home. It really negates the fun of traveling and staying somewhere different. Do better. Please.

Above all I want a good nights sleep when I travel and that starts with a firm, supportive mattress. Such was not the case with the old pillowtop we had. Its time to change the mattress, in room 101 anyway. If you're using Google maps or other to find the property great, but if relying on roads signs, esp at night, you need to be attentive. At the end of the road where the property is located a large seniors residence is being built, the hotel is just before that, however there is no sign on the road, the hotel's signage faces the highway. Would be a good idea to add a sign on their driveway. On the plus side, the staff, like most Nova Scotians were always helpful and friendly and the morning buffet was good.
