My first stay at a Regent hotel, an IHG property, turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We had booked a Club Twin room but were complimentary upgraded to a one-bedroom suite for two nights. The suite was incredibly spacious, you could practically play hide-and-seek in it! The minibar was also exceptionally well-stocked; in addition to snacks and beverages, they even included a complimentary bottle of red wine and sparkling wine – a truly delightful and unexpected bonus!

Our guest relations specialist, Doris, with her sweet voice, called us a day before our arrival to confirm and had already prepared children's amenities for us. She also gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel.

Guests staying in Club rooms have access to an exclusive Executive Lounge, where we enjoyed both breakfast and afternoon tea. It was never crowded, offering a peaceful experience.

The swimming pool boasted incredible, unobstructed views, directly overlooking the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

Overall, we had a superb experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lujiazui!

Before our check-in, the hotel called, thoughtfully inquiring if we had children and mentioning they would prepare kid-friendly amenities. Unfortunately, these seem to have been overlooked upon our arrival. The lobby's air conditioning was incredibly powerful; it felt quite chilly stepping in from the summer heat. We received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice gesture. However, upon arriving at 3:20 PM, we were informed our room wasn't ready and had to wait until 4 PM. While we waited, they offered us complimentary drinks. We ordered three, but were then informed that only two of them would be on the house. The balcony offered a fantastic view, and the hotel boasted an impressive design aesthetic. The pool staff were very attentive, and the kids absolutely loved the warm soaking pool.

Stayed here out of convenience because our event took place in one of their function rooms. The lobby is grand, the room is spacious and luxurious although the decor is a little dated. The fact that they still use physical keys says alot, which also means the lifts are not restricted to in-house guests only. Even the aircon in the room is still turn-type thermostat.

The room is abit like a junior suite where there's an additional door separating the entrance and bathroom from the bedroom. I do wish the lights are brighter, too dim for my liking. The side table lamps and floor lamp are also manual control, so you have to turn them on/off one by one. The bed is firm but the pillows are too soft and sinks without support. Clean and spacious bathroom, do note however they don't provide single-use disposables so bring your own toothbrush. The water pressure in the standing shower is good, but the hot water for the bathtub is not hot enough. 

Location wise isn't too convenient. The MRT is about 7 mins walk away, considering you also have to go downslope from the hotel lobby which is situated above a park at the top of the slope. There also isn't much else around in terms of local food and stuff, except for 7-11. It's connected to Regent Galleria in the basement where there are more luxury boutiques from Sisley to Chanel, Hermes, Issey Miyake etc. 

5* service, every staff I've met throughout my stay has been most friendly, helpful, attentive, polite and full of smiles.

*   **Lai Ching Heen:** This Michelin-recognized restaurant specializes in exquisite Cantonese cuisine, with signature dishes like its acclaimed Char Siu and Steamed Crab with Hua Diao Wine receiving widespread praise.
*   **Lobby Lounge Afternoon Tea:** The Lobby Lounge's Afternoon Tea offers a classic English three-tiered set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, making it perfect for picturesque moments and Instagram-worthy photos.

For football enthusiasts, the hotel lobby proudly displays three autographed Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys, conveniently located right next to the K11 Cristiano Ronaldo Museum – a perfect spot for fan photos. It was even rumored that Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al Nassr team stayed here when they played a match in Hong Kong on August 15th. What a shame I missed that!
