Extended Stay America Suites - Seattle - Redmond

We stayed here overnight. I booked a “king suite” with a fold out bed but the room is VERY small. Also, I think it is intentional that this place doesn’t look like a motel in any of the pictures. We had to make our own sofa bed, and that mattress was stained. Additionally, there was no mattress protector. We asked for an extra pillow but none were available. The next morning housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 am because there were no “do not disturb” placards to be put out. The breakfast was previously frozen muffins and instant oatmeal…which is pretty sad even from “continental” standards. We have a non-refundable second stay booked and I am dreading going there.

Very nice hotel with great amenities but horrendous and rude staff. Stay clear from Chipo. If you have any issues do yourself a favor and just keep it to yourself. Management will retaliate and do everything in their power to make you feel unwelcome. Complained to management about staff entering room unauthorized, was told they enter to give us waters. We said we only want staff entering on cleaning days only and still with our do not disturb staff enters your room for no apparent reasons. Won't clean, just will randomly enter to bring you pillows or water when they feel you might need it........ Also make sure to communicate through emails as you will see unauthorized charges and you will have to fight with your evidence to get what is right.

I arrived yesterday. I’ll be here for almost a week, from Saturday night to Friday. I was out for the day, getting out early before 9:00am. When I got back to the hotel around 6:30pm they didn’t do house keeping at all. The bed was not done, towels on the floor not changed.. nothing at all. I went to reception to complain and they say it’s their policy to ask if people want house keeping when doing check-on. Because of COVID/whatever excuses…. Excuse me? What? And of course no one asked me such a thing when checking in!!! Is this a new and nice hotel costing minimum of $250 per night? Unbelievable… I was not expecting this in a new hotel like this…
Residence Inn Seattle East/Redmond

We spent 2 nights here - a weekend. As we checked in, the gal at the front desk informed us there were jr soccer teams staying but assured me they would ensure guest comfort. She was right. There were signs posted in every hallway about enforced quiet hours 9pm-7am. Our room was next to the swimming pool and we were relieved to see that those quiet hours were indeed enforced. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the full hot breakfast (included with the room) was excellent both days. The breakfast area is quite spacious and a nice touch is the outside patio for eating in a quieter environment. As a coffee lover, I applaud the Residence Inn for serving up a quality brew. The bold coffee was excellent. I also liked that the hotel was ideally located a block from the town centre with dining/shopping options. We will return to Redmond next year and you can be sure we will stay here.
Hyatt House Redmond

I would thoroughly recommend the Hyatt House to anyone staying in Redmond. I was pleasantly surprised with our room and stay. Without knowing Redmond, the parking garage felt safe to park our, the neighborhood was nice - though it seemed to lack on food options compared to other similar looking neighborhoods, and our room was great. We had a top-floor corner unit with a wrap-around balcony. The floor to cieling windows allowed for plenty of natural light with minimal noise from the road. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge in the room. The ceilings were the highest I've ever seen - except maybe once - in a hotel room, but I would be surprised if rooms on the lower floors had comparably high ceilings. While the room and staff were great, the breakfast here is fine but it is definitely one of the better free hotel breakfasts that I've had. If you're looking for a great place to relax right next to an urban bike/walking trail, then this is the place for you.

The room had everything you need, including a Keurig coffee maker. The hotel was quiet and had a nice breakfast, with excellent bagels from nearby Blazing Bagels. Also an awesome coffee machine in the lobby that grinds the beans and makes great coffee drinks. Had one breakfast at the Pancake House next door, where you get a 15% discount when staying at the hotel. Nice location, and we were able to walk right from the hotel to the W. Samammish trail, where we had great views of the lake and Mt. Rainier about a mile or so south on the trail from a couple of piers.
