Motel 6 Redmond, or

It was OK. Like many others have said, desk staff were less than friendly. They appeared to be training a new employee and the trainee was very pleasant. The toilet seat was beat up like a gas station toilet and there was some weird splat on the ceiling near the window. Wife wouldn’t use the shower. She called it “gross”. Outlets are old looking. I don’t think I’d stay there again unless I had too. Which is why I stayed this time. Last minute and didn’t feel like dropping $260 for the Super 8. I have no idea why rooms are so expensive in Bend/Redmond. We stayed at a very nice hotel downtown Portland the night before for $200.

hundreds of people nearby got evacuated from our homes due to a wildfire. the first night we stayed the rate was $116.01. When we stayed another night (a Tuesday) because we still couldn't go home, the price was now $138.11 because there was a demand for rooms as hundreds of people were displaced due to fire. The next night was the same $138.11 (a Wednesday). When I asked to woman at the front desk why the rate had gone up $22 on a weekday she said RUDELY she had no control over the prices. I sent Motel6 an email and they said they feel bad but algorithms set the prices based on supply and demand and there was nothing they could do. Of course there's always something they can do-be decent people and make a decision not to profit when local emergencies happen.

The staff was very rude. The front counter lady was very snippy and unhelpful. When we ask to check in they told us the room was not even ready or close being ready we had to wait about an hour and a half before the room was ready. They told me that the room wasn't priority because it was a third booking party through ******* and not through the website itself. The room was kind of disgusting the bed's flat pillows were flat stains on the wall the room was very noisy they put us next to the elevator. The vending machines were half out of everything. Very disappointment for the first time and I've stayed at a lot of Motel 6 that stayed at this one a couple times in the last 10 years and this is for the first time the worst service the properties run down it just it's not what it used to be it's very sad. And not just with that the prices are expensive

Seriously pathetic customer service. Didn't get past the front desk at check-in. The staff was rude and incompetent. I went down the street to Best Western. There I was greated with a smile and treated like a valued customer. I was going to stay there for the convenience of distance to a function. It's Holiday Inn or Best Western from now on.

Motel was clean and comfortable for the most part. Nothing fancy but it was a place for me and my kitties to lay our heads. Not too bad if you’re on a budget.

Not a convenient area to walk to anything. The bed frame was cheap and falling apart, the mattress kept slipping off while sitting on the bed.
