Valle Vista Luxury Apartments

Everything was perfect for our extended family stay. Susan recommended places of stunning beauty to visit in the local area such as Crystal Cascades. The apartment was pristine and stylish. We were very comfortable. Close to shops and cafes.

WOW. We had a last minute requirement for an apartment with a lift due to an injury and Susan was very accommodating. The apartment was luxurious, wheelchair friendly, and lifts enabled easy access in and out to all floors. Teenagers loved the pool and the welcoming basket of goodies was lovely and much appreciated. We will most definitely be back here next time we are in Cairns. Wish we had found Valle Vista earlier. :-)

We stayed in two different apartments during our stay in Cairns and they were perfect! We started off in the Michaelmas suite which was on the first floor. The apartment is just like in the photos, very luxurious and spacious. It is beautifully styled. We received a lovely breakfast hamper on arrival too. There were additional towels for the pool, a safe, some pantry basics, a hairdrier, pegs for laundry, laundry liquid etc. It was great having a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher! Any issues were quickly addressed (noisy guests arrived one day and after alerting Sue to it, they were never heard again so it was clearly addressed which was much appreciated). The pool area was great to cool off in...our 9 year old had a ball. There were never other people there either which was great! The second apartment was the Cannonball Suite. Unfortunately it wasn't the suite we had chosen which was disappointing as we were only informed on arrival that it had been changed. This suite wasn't quite as luxurious as the first but was still beautiful. The bed was much more comfortable though which was great. One thing that was annoying was the light streaming in in the morning as the roller blind allows for it with the gaps on either side. This bothered us in both apartments but the gap was bigger in this one. A few of the 'little extras' were missing in this apartment but it seems the previous guests may have been the reason for that. We were again on the first floor but in a different set of apartments. The pool area wasn't as lush as the first. Check in and check out were easy and access was too. We felt very safe and our rental car was secured in our own double garage. The location is great. A short drive to Cairns, around the corner from the Crystal Cascades (which are a must for a swim) and close to the scenic rail and skyrail. The scenic rail actually travels past behind the apartments which was fun to see! Being away from the touristy areas was great as it made the stay more relaxing. There is a shopping centre within walking distance. All in all, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation. Book it!!
